I had a gentlemen come out from Home Depot to measure my flooring and tell me what all needed to be done. Fast forward to my carpeting install. The installers showed up without the carpeting and said they were told it was at my home. It was not. They had to go pick it up from the store. Second part of install was my LVP. It was priced with some leveling. I have particle board through out for sub floors. The installer showed up and said he couldn't install as he couldn't put leveler on particle board. I heard from Home Depot while the installer was still in my home. All of my furniture was on my carport and both toilets had been pulled for the install. Home Depot said they would get back to me. The manager called me a couple of hours later. The installer had left and the manager expressed to me that this was an unforeseen problem. It was not unforeseen - pressed wood is exposed in both bathrooms and utility room where install was to take place. It was covered by linoleum in my kitchen and hall but still the same floor pressed wood underneath. The manager was to get right back to me after I explained that it was not unforeseen of which he did not. I have not been credited the install. I sat all day with no restrooms and all of my furniture on my carport. It is now the next day and I have had to come out of my own pocket again to pay an installer to install on a weekend so that I could have restrooms and move my furniture back inside my home. I also was charged almost $700 for 16 transition moldings when I only needed 3. Over $550. overage for transitional moldings with no explanation. Just bring it back. I spend thousands of dollars at Home Depot and just recently bought a house in Cartersville of which I am renovating. I moved here from Florida where again I renovated a home and spent thousands of dollars. For a manager to not callback or follow up when someone is spending thousands that's inexcusable. This whole job would have never been like this in Florida. Home Depot was my favorite store. After this and all the extra money spent. I'm going back to Lowes. UPDATE -I spoke with Josh at the Home Depot and I changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars. In this day and age it takes a concerned manager like Josh to step up and take care of what was a very disgruntled customers. I want to thank Josh again and thank Home Depot for...
Read moreFirst, let me start with the fact that Iâm not the type to review companies and never thought I would have to review Home Depot, one of my favorite companies, but now I do. I have had the worst experience trying to buy a dishwasher for my family. It started with my wife and I deciding to upgrade our dishwasher. We went to buy a new one in store and have it delivered a week later. Well, when it was delivered, the installers cut the water line from our old dishwasher (which was working, we were just trying to upgrade it) making it unusable. They then installed the new dishwasher and immediately opened it to see that the product was defective from the factory. Since they cut the waterline to our old dishwasher, they were unable to re-install it therefore leaving us with a new but broken one. My pregnant wife, sister, and I have now been hand washing all of our dishes (not just for us three, but also for my three young children) for two weeks now and were promised a new dishwasher would be delivered within three-five business days. We just now found out the day before the new dishwasher was to be delivered that it is discontinued and the replacement has not yet been manufactured and will take two more months to be delivered. Moral of the story, learn from my mistake, donât buy any major appliances from Home Depot, join Costco if you can, and buy...
Read moreI am a loyal local resident who strongly supports local businesses, and yours is no exception. I appreciate the effort your store puts into seasonal celebrations and colorful decorations, which add a festive touch to our community.
However, as a concerned father, I feel compelled to bring to your attention an issue that has been unsettling for some of your customers, especially parents with young children. The large, scary clown placed at the main door is causing distress to children entering your store and even some customers with infants. While I understand the intention behind the Halloween ornament, its placement and design have unintended negative effects.
I kindly request you to consider replacing the scary clown decoration with something less frightening, or alternatively, relocating it to a less prominent position within your store. I believe this adjustment would create a more welcoming environment for all customers, enhancing their shopping experience without compromising the festive spirit.
I want to emphasize that my concern is shared by my neighbors and several members of my family, all of whom coincidentally expressed similar sentiments. We genuinely value your business and wish to continue supporting it. Hence, I felt it necessary to bring this matter to...
