Arboretum Retail & Restaurant Center — Local services in Cary

There are a few good restaurants and shops in the Arboretum including Jersey Mike's, Moe's, Starbucks, Carolina Cafe, Bonefish, and Ruth's Chris. However, unless you're at Ruth's Chris you're going to find parking to be a little tricky during peak hours. It also can be tough to know where to go in and out of it. You can only turn right on to Harrison, so if you need to get back on the highway you need to go through the whole shopping center to turn right on Weston and then left on Harrison. The main road of the shopping center that goes past Moe's and Starbucks is curved and is about 2 1/2 cars wide. It also intersects with an entrance to the shopping center, but very close to the entrance. This can make for some challenging traffic patterns, particularly when a truck is making a delivery.

The atmosphere and food were amazing. My boyfriend had the carne asada, and I had la victoria burrito. Both of these dishes were amazing. They provided chips and salsa, but the best part of that was the salsa.... chips were not fresh. The service left something to be desired. They were not busy but yet we had to wait up to 15 mins to order after being sat and waited for refills. Overall, we will be back to try other dishes and definitely recommend trying them out. This shopping center needs to be investigated for ADA code violations. The crosswalks do not have curb cuts for handicapped people in wheelchairs, rollators, scooters, or crutches so they can get from parking level to on top of the curb.
