Recent visit has prompted me to pass on a buyer beware on ammo. Check your ammo order in detail. We just picked up an order of .22 LR. The salesperson prompted me to check the order as all sales are final. I counted the boxes in the bag and read the brand/caliber/grains on each box. I didn't think i needed to open each box to verify the quantity but after returning home and storing the ammunition I noted a lighter box. I opened it and 30 rounds are missing. It is only a loss of about $2.40 but was still dissapointed that a new box of ammunition is missing rounds out of it. Next time you buy ammo here check you purchase in detail.

Design of product is nice. In the end we will be happy BUT ....

The product was manufactured with a defect resulting in an accessory anchor or trolling motor support plate to be mounted wrong & not being fully supported by the hull. The PDL drive was improperly packed in the hull resulting in the skeg damaging the cockpit with scratches. There is a gouge on the starboard bow that resulted in a piece coming off the hull. There is an approximate 24" scratch on the starboard side, midship.

We contacted Bass Pro, & they were mildly supportive offering an appeasement cash back only. Despite they told me I would receive a refund of some money, I did not. Bass Pro gave me an eGift card I can use at their store. This doesn't help me pay for what I have to do to fix the issue, it only allows me to buy more of their products at their stores. This was a deceiving move on their part. We drove over to the Bass Pro store to show the issue & the staff was reluctant to replace the product stating if I opted for that we would not be able to enjoy using the product we had therefore holding our summer hostage while waiting for a replacement due to a manufacturer's defect. We had made contact previously with a Bass Pro employee who claimed the Old Town Rep offered support in our effort to purchase these kayaks. They were not there the day we brought the defective kayak in. We mentioned this to Bass Pro, & they dismissed bringing this resource to bear on our support needs.

We have lost much of our confidence in Old Town as a product. These kayaks sell for approximately $2900.00, & the quality as compared to the Old Town Canoe I grew up in is simply not there. We have lost much of our confidence in Bass Pro Shops as they were quick to take our money, but things slowed & became limiting during support of a problem with the manufacturing.

I want to thank the 2 CSRs who did provide the appeasement. I believe they did the best they could under the limiting resources Bass Pro Shops offers them to work with.

I would like to note that I contacted Old Town directly, explained the issue & they showed no concern over the fact they made a defective product. This demonstrates a lack of caring & pride on their part. I had indicated to Bass Pro that I would be reviewing my purchase publicly & it would either reflect great customer service & support or it would reflect poor customer service & support. Their reply was “I don’t care, it...

I ordered same day pick on two reels and rods because they showed in stock at store. It said I could pick up at the store as long as I ordered by 4:00 PM. I placed my order at 10:59 AM. When I arrived at the store, I went to customer service. After standing by the register and getting in a staring contest with two ladies at the end of the row who were drinking sodas and chatting for 3 minutes, I very loudly asked if they we’re going to come help me. The older, grey haired lady came down came down and asked if she could help me. I said I had placed an order and I was here to pick it up. She asked my name, and said there wasn’t anything in the system. I gave her my phone number and she said there nothing in her system, and there was nothing she could do. I asked her then to refund my money and she yelled at me and said we don’t charge your card until you pick it up. I showed her on my phone where my account was already charged and she literally walked away from me.

A third lady offered to help. She asked for the order number and I gave it to her. She found the order, but said the system switched my order from in store pick up to ship to store since they were low in quantity. This is the second time this has happened with Bass Pro. The nice lady walked me back to the fishing department. The guys in fishing were great, they had the reels and offered to sting them, they got the rods, and I went and got about another $300 worth of stuff, Including upgrading the rods I had purchased.

When I went back on front, the nice lady was gone and some other guy said he could t help me because he didn’t show the order in his system. I showed them the order, and that I’ve been charged, and I would like to return the less expensive rods and buy the more expensive rods. He again informed me that he can’t do anything because “the system” changed it to ship to store. I called the number on the order receipt and she offered me $50 for the inconvenience which I declined.

The back of the store guys and the one lady up front were great and professional. The horrible response by two managers and a third lady, all with in 10 feet of a sign that says Service is their #2 priority. I have never felt so unappreciated as a consumer because of my in store experience. My advice is do not order anything from them to pick up in store. i have shared this experience with some of fishing friends and they have had similar experiences with the Cary store and ordering...

The qualified professionals at the Tracker Bass Pro Shop in Cary, NC were amazing. After being turned down by other mobile boat repair people, I contacted them and they were extremely friendly.

My grandfather gave me his boat before he passed away. It was in rough condition and it looked horrible compared to new big fancy water vessels. Most boat lovers would be embarrassed to be around it but not me and not the Tracker Bass Pro Shop. It belong to a person, who meant a lot to me and I truly can careless what other people think. The boat belonged to a person I loved and enjoyed spending time with.

The Tracker Pros took an old boat and made it new again. Their prices were extremely reasonable and the equipment was much less than other boat dealers. Robert, Justin and John provided the best customer service with truly expressing my best interest and not their own. They were open and honest about tackling my tough project two weeks ahead of schedule and I can under their estimate. Others in town refused to help me but the Bass Pro Shop proved they are open to everyone who has a boat need regardless of what their boat looks like. They sell many types of brand new boats but they were open to help me with my grand father’s boat that I inherited. They gave me confidence they can truly do what they said they would do. I can truly say, I trust them. They delivered their promise in a very big way.

COVID, a shortage of US workers, out of control inflation, high interest rates, a possible recession and Russia taking over the Ukraine wouldn’t stop the Cary Bass Pro Tracker dealer from doing the best job for your boat or boating needs. They are truly amazing! Robert and Justin will go out of their way to provide you the very best customer service. I believe they will truly...

🌧️ The rain today wasn’t angry — it was that Carolina kind, soft and earthy, smelling of moss, pine smoke, and warm soil 🌲. Drops slid down the hood as I parked at 801 Bass Pro Ln, Cary, NC 27513, and when I opened the door, the scent hit me — wood, oil, and adventure 🔫. Inside, the light was warm, the air thick with timber and calm, the kind of peace only hunters and sailors truly know 🌊. The store is vast, yet intimate. Every beam, every glass case of knives and shells seems to whisper, “Welcome home, traveler.” Here, wood and steel are honored equally. An old man by the counter tells stories about scopes while a young boy listens as if hearing a legend 💬. In the distance, fish glide in a huge aquarium, the sound of water merging with the rhythm of rain outside 🐟💦. As I pass mannequins in camouflage, I feel part of something ancient. No rush, only memory, craft, and respect for the wild 🌾. I think: a hunter isn’t the one who shoots — he’s the one who listens and waits. To hear the rain tap on the roof and realize that life itself is a hunt — for peace, for truth, for meaning. And as I stand by the rack of smoothbore rifles, the rain grows stronger. It feels like it’s washing the sky, the land, and my soul all at once 🌧️☕️. In that quiet moment, I know — everything is right. I am exactly where I should be: between the forest, the steel, and the silence. “Not every shot is loud. Sometimes the truest shot is silence.” 🌲🦌

I can't say enough about the boat shop. I had a factory recall that was going to take my local BPS a month to get to. I called the Cary location 2 hours away and he told me if I could get it there, he'd knock it out for me. Took him maybe 30 minutes. While I was waiting, I decided to walk inside and pick up my first Curado DC which I've wanted for a while and finally convinced myself was worth the money. They were out. Sucks to be me. I left that section and toyed with the idea of spending that money instead on a better graph. I looked and played for about 20 minutes. Nobody ever showed up to help. Kind of disappointing. I was in the mood to spend money and struck out on all fronts. Lol. Other than that, the layout was much better than my local store but definitely understaffed.
