Lovely Nails — Local services in Cary

I can’t even begin to explain every reason why this is the BEST nail salon I have ever been to!

This shop run by Lilli and David is the best shop in the Triangle. I have been to MANY shops in the area and there is not one like this one. I have been going here for a few months now and have not once been disappointed.

David, who always does my nails, takes the time to explain to me what he’s doing so that way I know what to expect. He always takes the time to make sure my shape is on point and my nails look natural. David always suggest what he thinks could work for me, but never pressures me into anything I don’t want. I have not yet had the chance to allow Lilli to do my nails (because she specializes in designs) but I have never seen anything like her work! Every woman to ever leave the shop while I have been there has been more than happy with her nails. She can take anything you show her and make it happen if not better than what you want, so I can’t wait she executes the design I have in mind. But most importantly for me both Lilli and David make me feel comfortable! They don’t give me your typical nail salon feels but rather a place to relax and make me feel better about myself.

Yes, this is a small shop so you shouldn’t expect fast quick service, but waiting on them is always worth it! It is definitely always better to call ahead for an appointment to make sure they can fit you in. I LOVE going to get my nails done here and I know...

I love Lovely Nails. They are personable and friendly and some of the best quality work around. Usually I can go three weeks without getting a fill in on my nails because they’re done so well. Anywhere else I’ve gone and I’ve got lifting in a week or two. These guys are knowledgeable, caring and professional. They are conveniently open weekends and evenings and they always quote an accurate time if you’ve walked in without an appointment (versus telling you it’ll be ten or twenty minutes, when they’ve really got so many people ahead of you, it’ll be an hour). They will even work with you to find a better time that day or the next, if the wait will be too long. They are accommodating, even when I change my mind at the last minute and they are hospitable and offer drinks to make you feel comfortable. Lovely Nails is also visibly sanitary and don’t reuse nail files or tools that haven’t been properly sanitizer between customers. Great jobs, guys, I hope you keep up...

The service was horrible, I went for a gel/shellac manicure and ended up leaving with just the shotty removal gel base coat was still left on 2 nails. The lady who "has worked there for 25 years" was so extremely rude I wanted to leave during my treatment. During the removal she was so busy watching price is right on a tv behind her while she was scraping off the gel that she wasn't even looking at my nails! She ruined my natural nails, when I said something she got an attitude with me! Decor is from the 1980's, the utensils did not come in a sterile packet, the walls were dingy and dirty and there was a gas can sitting on the floor one station over. GROSS!
