I was humiliated at this location yesterday evening. Jerry and I were looking for items for our new home. We're we've been to numerous HomeGoods, TJ Max and Marshalls. Iv been in North Carolina for 2 1/2 years and have never felt this way. First, Jerry asked if we could get some help with a desk we found and the cashier said they didn't have anyone, can't he get it. So Jerry said yes, so he went to get it. She didn't start ringing my items up while he was gone, and I td her I'm getting these items also. She didn't start ringy things up until my fiance came back. He pull the tag off so she can ring the desk first meanwhile I noticed I didn't have my phone to unlock my card. So I asked .y fiance to go to the car to get it. Which he did quickly. I asked my fiance to take the table out and move the car closer, because we had it of item and a glass picture. The cashier quickly said no you can't take those things out until they are paid for, due to the tone and voice used I felt embarrassed. I explained once you total everything I'm paying with my credit card. While the next customer in line says Me and my husband do that with nothing ever said. I at that time feeling like the cashier is insinuating that I'm not going to pay for my items. We had so many items including a glass picture and I had my card out so I was not, not going to pay. I felt immediately offended and my feei were hurt. She just stood there before she finally tototaled my order. I wanted to really say take everything back. But I kept them and spoke with the manager. I explained I never felt like that before. Tears just came down my face. But I will never go back to the Cary location again. I don't know if I want to spend any of my money at TJ Maxx or HomeGoods again. Very...
Read moreThe managers of this particular Homegoods are very curt and rude. The return policy at the Cary crossroads is a pain. They are the only store to Make it such a hassle!!! All the other Homegoods in the area are wonderful about returns and I end up spending far more than I returned. At the Cary crossroads if you don’t have your receipt but the tag is on the item they get out a gun that lessens the price you actually paid so you have to take a cut in the price. No way. I just kept it and shopped at the Apex, and Brier creek locations for the items I was going to purchase at the time of my return. It’s just a way to hit the customer for a return. And they go through all this drama about it.when the exact same item is still in The store for current sale at the same price as I paid on the tag !! Forget it. I’ll keep the item and shop elsewhere. The managers should take a lesson in customer service because they are horrible at that location. Honestly talking to them is like talking to a drill Sargent. Not worth it. I know it’s a chain and they don’t care but I’ll give my money to the fantastic managers at Apex, Brier creek and Falls of the Neuse ! That way I can enjoy...
Read moreTerrible experience and I wouldn't recommend anyone to shop here. If your able to go to another location please do. I tried to purchase a mirror, however my car wasn't big enough for it. I was told by 2 people after the one gentleman came out to measure my car that they could only hold for 2 hours on 06/23. I asked are they sure and I was told yes. On 06/26 I found someone to get the mirror, however it was being held behind the counter. 06/27 and every 2-3 days thereafter I came to the store and the mirror was still there. After speaking to several managers, I was told on 07/6 that they were giving the customer until 12pm to come pick up the mirror or they would call me . I called at 12:30 07/07 and the customer still didn't pick it up. I was told at 5pm if I come to the store I cld buy it if it was still here. I went to the store at 5:15 and the mirror was no longer behind the counter. I asked a rep and was told it was gone. At 5:58 as im walking out I see not only the man who measured my car but also a lady helping the man put it in a uhaul. Terrible store!! I was given 2 hours, however someone else was given 2 weeks to...
