Be careful with this place! They may be overcharging customers. Today saturday, November 30th, after checking Greek Fiesta at Crossroads online, I called to order 2 original gyros at $6.78 each and one side of fries at $ 3.49. The total should have been $17,05 plus tax. However, when I asked for the total, the server at the other end of the phone said about $25.00! I said how is that? He replied that each original gyro was $9.78! So I said that their website said $6.78 but he insisted that it was $9.78. Naively, I did not worry much about it cause I figured that there was some confusion. So I said that I would go to the store to show him my cell with the prices shown on their website. I assumed that if the online price was wrong or dated, that I would be given credit, just like at any other restaurant in America! But boy, I was wrong! When I got there, there was a Middle Eastern couple and I showed my cell to the male server with their Greek Fiesta website prices. He did not know what to do, so he called another server and I explained to him the situation again! So he went back into the backroom to get what appeared to be their boss. I showed this new man my cell with their website prices. However, he claimed that that was another website, not theirs, because their gyros were $9,78! By this time I was annoyed because instead of granting me a courtesy credit the man got defensive and said that "you can get gyros from another place". So I said "ok I dont want anything" and I left. Ok. My thing here is that these "business" people are misleading customers into paying more for a good that is advertised at a lower price online and yet they don't grant their customers the benefit of the doubt despite the fact that they are in the wrong! On top of that, they have the nerve to get defensive and mad! I mean, I understand that millions come to this country asking for a chance in life. But apparently some of them forget that they got their chance and yet they do not want to give their American patrons credit for their mistakes! So I am definitely not going back to that place to help them overcharge customers and have the audacity of getting...
Read moreMy wife and I went here for the first time Saturday night, and when we got in, we didn't feel welcome as the employees just looked at us without any friendliness.
We ordered 2 lamb gyros and 2 lamb kabob, with just water as drinks, and it ended up costing us around $43 - overpriced for the lack of quality of food. We meant to order gyro platter but we ended up just having gyro, so there seems to be miscommunication or just lack of clarification because the employees just didn't seem to care when we ordered.
Each lamb kabob is about $8 each - nothing special about it- lacks spice, meat looks quite small; they did not even give us tatziki sauce; we had to ask for it. Compare that to Habibi Grill's lamb kabob that costs $6. As you can see in the photo, kabobs came on a cheap paper plate with bits of lettuce, no tatziki sauce. That should be automatic.
The gyro was around $11 each - tastes okay but for the amount of meat and no sides, I just don't think it's worth it. I was more satisfied eating halal street food in New York that only cost me $8! For the price, that's about the same amount we pay for the Mediterranean spot in Crabtree Valley Mall - and the meal already comes with rice, pita bread, and another side like baba ganoush.
Saw the container they use for sweet tea - looks quite dirty. When The men's bathroom also looks filthy - urine around toilet - Did they even care to clean?
Overall, extremely disappointed with our experience and food quality/quantity in Greek Fiesta. We did not come here expecting higher class restaurant food as we already know it's more like a fast food joint, but the awful combination of overpriced food, poor customer service, and lack of cleanliness made this the worst Greek food...
Read moreWe were in Raleigh to visit a relative. We saw a sign on the highway for this establishment. First of all the place has a 90 sanitation grade which is just one point from a B. But my kids were really hungry and we had traveled for a long time so against our better judgement we decided to try it out. The gyro meat is bought pre sliced. Not cut off the vertical spit as you see in most Greek establishments. The pita bread was greasy and was not toasted enough. The Greek salad lettuce was turning brown and the feta had a sour taste. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. We own a restaurant and should have walked out when we saw the 90. They have serious problems and the grade needs to be raised at least to 95 or above to feel that you are safe eating there. The following is from the inspection report from 10-9-17.
