Very disappointed in the experience. I bought a new computer at Best Buy along with the one year Geek Squad service. They transferred the data from my old computer to the new one ; took three days. When I picked it up Saturday the tech said everything transferred; just checked if I could log in. He acted like that was too much to ask ... they were not busy.
Tried to pull up my data when I got home & could not so I set up another appointment the same day. Noticed at that time that the old 27" monitor which was in perfect shape had two large scratches mid left screen.
At the second appointment the first tech pulled up the data using a process that one would have to be a computer programmer to understand. Told him this was unacceptable. Fortunately , another tech re programed the process to make it simple as it should have been to start with.
I asked about the scratch & dust on the monitor. He claimed that the tech who checked me in 3 days ago wrote that the monitor had "normal ware & tare" on the screen ... really ?? Refused to help me out & said that was the way it was brought in. Made me feel like a liar who was trying to cheat the company .
Well ; I got screwed... I have learned my lesson ; take pics of anything that you leave with any service business and have them put in writing that the equipment is in good shape . Nothing I could do about this but "eat it" . Was planning to donate the old monitor to charity ; had to place it in the recycle been...

Bought a nice washer, explicitly stated I needed an afternoon delivery, and waited about 3 weeks the delivery date. No issue there. Was not in a hurry. Expected courtesy call before the delivery. When it came, I couldn't return the call. No one ever answered the store phone number provided, continuous hold. I drove to the store to confirm the delivery. Was assured it looked fine, should be toward end of the day, 3:30 or so.
Next day, Best Buy showed up at my house before noon. I know because they left a note. Apparently they'd called that morning and left a voicemail saying they'd be early. That evening I tried calling the store again, but was still on hold after driving 20 minutes to the store and walking inside to find a bewildered manager. My delivery was made that evening. Efficient, courteous delivery guys.
A few days later I get a call from Best Buy trying to schedule delivery for the same purchase. Explained it already had been delivered. About a month later -- no kidding -- got a call from the same store trying to schedule delivery again. Called the store manager who was monotone and didn't seem particularly concerned. I had my purchase already, right? Ridiculous. Love my purchase but service stinks. Hate to think how messy it would be if the product itself turned out to be...
Read moreI bought a TV and a wall mount on December 23rd. I had to wait until Jan.15th for the delivery and the installation of the mount and TV. I confirm the appointment by call twice and email several times. I took off work today to be home for the delivery. I even called this morning to confirm the appointment. The Geek Squad member over the phone said he talked to the technician Alex and he was in route to my home. My appointment was from 7am-1pm. 1pm came and went no Alex. Then I get a text message at 2pm that my delivery was canceled. I waited 3 weeks for them to cancel on me. I called back asking why they canceled my delivery and they said because they couldn't get a hold of me since January 7th 😆😆😆. That's a lie because I talked to them today and they confirmed he was coming. I canceled my order for the mount and TV. Thanks for the Best Buy credit card I can use anywhere ✌🏻. I'll go buy the TV from some other business. I would give them zero stars but I can't. F Best Buy, Geek Squad and Alex...
