Horrible set up for curbside pickup.
The store itself is good if you are shopping yourself, but don't try the curbside pickup. There is no way to let them know that you are there if you don't have the app. I was picking up a couple of things for my mom, and thought that it should be easy to do curbside pickup. Instead I get there and see that the only way to tell home depot that I'm there, is the app which I don't have, or the email and text that were sent to my mom. So I call my mom and and she tries to find the email, but she can't, she didn't get a text so can't do it that way, so she searches for the help desk number and tries to call, but doesn't get an answer. 10 minutes after getting there, I gave up on my mom being able to tell them that I am there, and I go inside, after getting both kids out of the car. Wait for another 15 minutes to get to the help desk, and while I'm there watch one employee who I gathered was the one taking curbside orders out just sitting there, waiting for a car to come. And when one does he takes the order out and they are gone in less then 5 minutes. So I get through the line and instead of telling them I'm there, I just pick the order up, and take it back to the car. At least the employees were nice, they just didn't know that I was there to pick up my mom's order. Overall a horrible experience with home depots curbside pickup. It would have been way easier for me to just plan to go in the store and pick them up myself.

Read moreI rarely go to home depot and usually go to the other box store across the street. But they had the part I needed and I had a gift card to use. I went in with my daughter and the store was pretty dead in the middle of the day during summer. Yet I was having a hard time finding the exact part I needed and walked around the few aisles when I noticed 3 employees standing around chatting and giggling. They looked extremely bored since the store was legitimately empty. Yet I was getting annoyed as I clearly couldn't find what I was looking for and was obviously the only customer around. So I went up to ask them for help as it showed it was in stock online when the old guy employee made some comment under his breath about looking like a lost blonde and chuckled. He was clearly trying to show off in front of the 2 younger employees there and all I could do was give him a dead stare. I was extremely tempted to tell him off but I didn't as my kid was with me and I just wanted to get out of there. He found what I was looking for and we left. What bugs me the most is I get tired of places constantly asking if I need help, but the one time I actually do the employees just stand around and ignore the fact that I clearly need help, and feel the need to make some rude comment when I do finally ask for help. Jerry at the Pro Desk is hands down the most knowledgeable, helpful, and dependable person I’ve ever worked with at this store—or any store for that matter. No matter how detailed or complicated my question is, Jerry always has the answer ready or knows exactly where to find it.
What really sets Jerry apart is his dedication. He doesn’t just point you in the right direction—he takes the time to make sure you fully understand your options, breaks down the details, and even anticipates questions I didn’t know I should be asking. It’s rare to come across someone with such a deep understanding of construction and such a genuine willingness to help.
To be honest, if Jerry isn’t there, I don’t even bother trying to get my questions answered by anyone else. I’ll wait and come back when I know he’s working because the level of service, professionalism, and accuracy he provides simply cannot be matched. He’s saved me time, money, and frustration countless times.
