1-9-25 We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and thanks to our server Clay, it was the best visit we’ve ever had. He was by far the sweetest and most caring server we’ve ever met. It’s rare to meet someone as genuine and kind as him. You can truly tell he’s a people person with a heart of gold. Clay, your charismatic personality left a lasting impression on both my husband and me. Thank you so much for making our visit unforgettable!
12-29-23 Came back to this location and our waiter which I believe his name was Matt. He was absolutely amazing! He did such a great job, he greeted us and was so respectful and kind. His service was definitely a 5 star one. If I could give him more stars I would. It’s rare to come across such great service and great food together at the same restaurant.
8-31-22 Upon receiving a response from Angry Crab and speaking to the regional manager.. which I very highly appreciate them reaching out to me.. this business really does value their customers input. I do a lot of reviews, and upon negative and positive ones, this is the only business of any reviews that has ever reached out to me to make things right.. I decided to try to visit this location again.. && I am so glad I did.. This location is incredibly clean and beautiful.. as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome from Jacob, Who I got to say is perfect for the front counter.. our waiter Nic was awesome! He was friendly, great, and on top of our drinks before our drink was done. The food was delicious.. We were also greeted by Wendy the manager, who was great to us. Again the food and the service was incredible!! There is nothing more this location could have done to make this an amazing visit. I do appreciate you all making it right..
8-19-22 This location was really nice and clean. But upon walking in, the girl who works the front (named Ty or Tie). She is so rude and made us feel like I inconvenienced her. We did not get greeted upon walking in. She did not make eye contact. She has zero customer service skills. When she took my order she would slap her hand down after each item I asked to order. She would hit the button on the screen and then loudly slam her hand down. When I kept asking questions to verify what I ordered she kept rolling her eyes and scoffed at the fact that I asked. I gave no kind of negative response to her, to make her feel like I was in a bad mood, for her to be giving me that kind of energy. I actually brought my family in there from California and it was a bad experience. My order was to go, and you would think I would have the best experience with such a small limited time of being in the store. I couldn’t imagine being there any longer. She made it so uncomfortable and made it embarrassing for me with my family when I talked up this place like it was top notch service. You guys need someone with great customer service who will make your customers feel welcome and not intimidated to ask questions about ordering something we are paying for. 06/08/2022 My husband and I went to the Angry Crab in Casa Grande to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. Ironically we were going to use a gift card given to us from the last visit there (which was given to us for bad food and service). To begin with the first couple of tables that we sat at were covered in debris from the a/c ducts and fans. We refused those seats. We picked a table in the corner not directly under the fans. We ordered our food and drinks and both of my beverages were made with old and brown limes and herbs as seen in the pictures. My husband had ordered snow Crab and sausages that came out in less than edible condition. The snow Crab had really soft shells and very mushy meat that had a bad taste. He returned the food and notified the server and the manager who both informed him that a lot of customers were having the same complaint. The manager also informed him that they had received "bad product" that they were attempting to get a refund for. He then asked the manager, if they were aware of the problem why had they not pulled the Crab from the menu and were willing serve it to thier customers. The manager at this point did attempt to correct the problem by not charging us. However again I cannot get the idea out of my mind that the product was bad, they knew it was bad, we were not the 1st to complain about unedible food, and yet they continued to serve it. Unacceptable. We are a family who believes in trying to patron our Pinal County to keep the money in our county, we don't want to have to go to Maricopa county. Someone has dropped the ball and this needs to be corrected. Cooks need to be reminded what good quality is, bartenders need to know fresh herbs from old rotted ones, and management needs to 86 something if not up to standard.
UPDATE!!!! WE WENT BACK IN MARCH OF 2023 Let me tell you, we are so excited and happy to share with all of you, "Angry Crab Shack" is so much better with the new Manager,Wendy! She has definitely taken charge! She has improved the quality of the whole place. It was clean, no dust particles anywhere! The food was amazing and as expected from an Angry Crab delicious and worth going back. Wendy has definitely made the whole place worth going back for. They need more managers like her to take responsibility and charge over change! She made our whole evening by assuring us, she has definitely made changes and it was noticeable! The staff was great and we left there ecstatic and in awe of how things improved. We are so happy we went back, we love giving our money within our Pinal County. Read moreI came in with my 3 yo son and my parents for lunch on 7-30-2022. Anthony was our server. From the get go, he was friendly, attentive, and informative. We ordered our food, and shortly it started coming out. One lady kept delivering one dish at a time. First mine, then my sons, then my step fathers. My mother sat there waiting for her food, wondering where it was. Anthony apologized several times, saying her meal (crab cake sandwiches) takes a little longer to cook. My mom finally got upset and said to cancel the order, as we were almost done with our food. He apologized again, and said he would have his manager (Wendy) take it off, and the food would still be right out. The manager came over about two minutes later with the food, and said she would take it off the bill. But before she left the table, she made sure to mention that that dish takes longer to cook and Anthony, our server, should have rang it in first, then rang up the rest of the food a few minutes later. I was APPALLED!!! How DARE her throw her server under the bus!!! First of all, that is a kitchen issue, not a service issue. Second of all, SHE is the one that delivered our food one plate at a time. She could and should of left the food that came out first under the warmer and brought it out together. Service 101. Third, I’m assuming she is salaried and Anthony works for tips, and her throwing him under the bus like that almost guarantees he gets a bad tip (not from me, he did great), even though it wasn’t his fault. And finally, a manager, a LEADER that’s worth their salt would never have blamed anyone. The correct response is: “I’m sorry this happened, I will take this off your bill, this will never happen again, is there anything else I can do to make your experience more enjoyable?” THATS how a good manager would respond.
Anthony-if you’re reading this, find a better job where you will be treated well
And if Wendy or anyone above her is reading this, you’re a horrible, unprofessional manager. You are not above or better than your staff. The way you acted was such a turn off, I will never come back to your establishment.
