La Michoacana - The Ice Cream Spot — Restaurant in Casa Grande

I might be biased as I'm generally not a treat person. However, we stopped in for a late night treat for the grands. Service and atmosphere were amazing 👏 Pretty cool shop, and they make it interesting for the kid's with color's, and cool names. The only problem is if you've kid's who won't eat what their used to or picky....Persay my grand LOVES cookie and cream. Yet he wouldn't eat more than a few bites of the Cookie Monster cup because it "looked and tasted weird." Which it doesn't taste exactly like cookie and cream we're used to TBH. Butttt wasn't bad. Let's just call this an expensive lesson for me. Lol. So please don't judge this place based on our tastes. Just be mindful if you've picky eaters. Hence the "Okay" stars. Just wasn't...

I got it, so let's talk about it.

I got the Chaminieve with mango. I can't say that word out loud. I've never been to a Mexican ice cream shop. I DID NOT want to come in here to get something I always eat like cookies n cream.

My eyes are now open to a whole new world. Wow! It's sweet but not too sweet, salty, but not too salt. It has a little spice but not too much.

Then we move on to my wife's Respaneive also with mango. It's soft, sweet, and fruity. Absolutely delicious!

Then, I also wanted to try the paleta. So I got the strawberry cheesecake. It tastes like they literally bake a cheesecake, put it on a stick, and threw it in the freezer. That thang was amazing!

My favorite place. Love their homemade popsicles and fruit drinks. Watermelon is my favorite. I had 2 such drinks 6-28-2023. Popsicles have fruit in them. Super delicious! I haven't tried the ice cream, yet. Also, homemade. There's places to sit in a happy atmosphere. Veteran discount with every purchase.
