**** Asking a question to the owners response!! If its so crucial to these programs why raise prices to the point that you're competing with walmarts BRAND NEW items? A few years ago when prices were affordable to many in casa grande you still supported these programs with what money was being made off of FREE DONATED items. Yes more people need assistance from programs like the salvation army offers but who doesn't need help with money these days? You're raising prices so damn high for items that are often broken, stained and ripped. People that used to support and shop at your store can no longer afford or want to support a store asking full price for a piece of clothing that smells horrible, is stained and ripped. So my question is why raise prices so high when the quality of your items has been going downhill? I think we all know the true answer but I would LOVE to hear yours. I've visited your store at least twice a week for the last five years and have watched the change into the joke it is today. I know many others that refuse to support or can afford your stores pricing. Casa grande is a smaller low income area and I guarantee word gets around fast and your revunue will drop so good luck to you. ***** I'll start with saying the staff is great and very helpful at this location! However the pricing change on clothing is ludacris. Raising prices 30, 40 or 50% basically overnight is mind boggling and honestly laughable. Why would I pay 17 dollars for a used Walmart brand hoodie when I can get one new for the same cost or cheaper??? I'll take my business elsewhere and to whoever is sitting behind the desk making these calls to raise prices needs to wake up!

My recent visit to the Salvation Army Thrift Store was deeply disappointing due to an unfortunate experience involving my 10-year-old child. While browsing the store, my child urgently needed to use the bathroom. I approached a staff member and politely asked if my child could use the restroom, only to be curtly informed that the restrooms were not available to customers.

This policy seemed particularly unreasonable given the circumstances. It’s understandable that some stores may have restrictions, but showing a little empathy, especially towards a child, would go a long way. The staff’s lack of concern and unwillingness to make an exception was upsetting. The refusal forced us to cut our visit short and seek facilities elsewhere, causing unnecessary distress.

Beyond this issue, the store itself was underwhelming. The selection of items was sparse, and many of the products were in poor condition. Prices were not as competitive as expected for a thrift store, further diminishing the overall shopping experience.

The combination of indifferent customer service and subpar merchandise left a lasting negative impression. For a place associated with charitable work and community support, I expected better. Unfortunately, this experience has deterred me from returning and supporting this particular Salvation Army...

Ridiculous prices... in a bad way! I stopped in to get a blazer/suit jacket to use to take photos of my boutonniere and corsage floral line. I found one that would work that was missing the tag. The cashier walked around the store to find something similar, I said, "here is one, it's $12.99, she said no it's not this same designer brand (which call me stupid, but I never heard of) of course you are not going to find another designer brand, same jacket, for Pete's sake, it's THE SALVATION ARMY THRIFT STORE for cryin' out loud... anyway obviously my "designer find" of a similar jacket didn't fit the bill, so she said "let me talk to my manager for a price"... okay great, it's a thrift store, ... she comes back (mind you, this was a white polyester jacket in a size EXTRA SMALL on top of everything else, missing a belt) she said, my manager has a price, it's $19.99.. I'm like HUH? you're kidding me right? I can buy one in the color that I was really looking for for the same price and have it delivered right to my door, and not have to worry about koodies! Guess who walked out without a purchase.. By Felicia! I went to Goodwill 2 blocks down the road and bought TWO suit jackets for (with tax) $6.93 and they were in a...
