Worst experience ever. I went to get my three-year-old son seen and it took a whole five hours just for the doctors to say drink water and take Tylenol. He had visibly red bumps on the root of his mouth and in the back of his throat. The doctor came in and noticed a bump on the outside of his mouth and asked "is this all you came in for" my response was "no, like I said when you first came in I see visibly red bumps on the inside of his mouth and I feel like it might be thrush." She then proceeded with asking my son questions and to move forward and I could tell she was getting frustrated and I finally responded to her my son just turned 3 years old and doesn't understand what you are asking. She glanced on the inside of his mouth and said it's not thrush. I then asked "okay but are the red bump in his mouth not concerning. Her response was "you said thrush so I only looked at his tongue let me look again." Then she said it might be strep let's do a test. I responded with it's definitely not strep but fine let's do a test and the test lo and behold came back negative. I asked again so what do you think it might be the red bumps are really concerning me and are obviously affecting him she said it's clearly something viral let's do a culture test which will take a few days in the meantime drink Tylenol and stay hydrated and I will get test ordered and get you your paperwork. The nurse lady came in to do the swab and she later admitted this was her first time doing this sort of test and she didn't know how to seal up the swab so inadequate training there. My whole experience was negative all the way down to the front desk staff who are very empathetic and are like robots. I took 5 hours of my day for something I could of read online thanks for your help Banner Health and please save your BS automated response of "please tell us how we can do a better service by emailing blahhh...
Read moreThis was the only urgent care supposedly open in my area on Saturday, but unfortunately there was no appointments available online this day, no matter how many times you call they never picked up. Experiencing that endless loop of frustration, one would think maybe they didn't update their hours and was actually closed. Since I live a couple minutes from there guess I could check. To my surprise they were actually open... went to the counter to start check in process (filing out a flash card with your name and why you need attention) the younger lady says its a 3 hour wait for walk ins. I asked if their phone didn't work because I called continuase and wouldn't answer and couldn't get assistance checking in online. Her response was that she's busy and won't answer.... wow! A simple" hold" would suffice but no that requires thinking. Since she said it would take hours in waiting that I would go home and change into warmer clothes since I was in shorts and wanted to just put my name in the queue but she said I wasn't allowed to leave that I had to stay in the waiting room. Even though I told her that I'm literally down the street and wasn't dressed for cold and since its going to be 3 hours wait whats max of 30 minutes going to do. Lol her response was funny to me. She said that if they call you to check in and wasn't inside that I would get skipped. Again my goal in the original was to make an appointment online so I wouldn't have to wait hours not feeling well . She could easily start the check in process so I could fill in my info and hold my spot. I told hey her im leaving and will be back because having her try to comprehend efficiency and multitasking was going no where.... another patient walked up to the desk and said he would come back in tomorrow because " this is ridiculous " funny but sad, that everyone can see how she is the cause of slow times and...
Read moreI've seen a few providers here and recently Ann Marie which my visit was exceptional and she really had an open mind and was charismatic whereas my recent visit for my child was absolutely unprofessional. The MAs seem like they have a problem and Andrea Frantz went from 0-100 assuming I was being aggressive over my concerns regarding my child's issues and her just wanting to give Ibuprofen. I wouldn't go to a doctors office if my kid needed just pain medicine and she even offered to provide an abx and as soon as I had concerns with them giving my kid Ibuprofen she automatically assumed it would be the same for the abx. The problem arose when she offered, and then accused me of having a problem with her because of my own beliefs. Pain medicine is addicting. My daughter was uncomfortable as they talked to her without talking to me first as far as why we are there which I didn't have a problem with until my daughter said something because she felt embarrassed with how many times they asked her about her birthday and she forgot the year. I completely understood if she didn't need a medication or not, all the extra talk was just unprofessional. Just do your job, does she need treatment or not? Are you sending something or not? Can we go home or are you coming with more nonsense? I didn't waste my time to bring her to an unprofessional physician for nonsense and to be accused of being aggressive when I was being direct in regards to my child and her health which this physician is clearly closed minded to. Please provide this physician with some training when dealing with sick children and their concerned parents so she doesn't go making accusations out of feelings. Also, when the MAs make call backs, how about some customer service in those voices, no care for verifying who their actually talking to. Definitely need some training at...
