Iām finally leaving this after about 5-6 chances for this business. Every time we go they are super slow, not a lot of friendliness and act almost like we are bothering them by ordering our food. We have resorted to going in to order our food as most of the time, they wonāt answer the phone to take our food order.
Today was the worst experience yet. When we walked in, there were 2 of us and 1 other customer seated at a table. There were about 5 employees working. It took FOREVER to get our order. At one point, we checked on it, wondering what was happening. Cue the deer in the headlights looks and the āsheās making themā response. There werenāt any to go orders on the racks and they did put 3 sandwiches there (about three time they were re-making my order). When I got the order, I checked it as Iāve learned is necessary. They didnāt include the mushrooms I asked for, and didnāt leave off the green peppers or pickle I asked them to not put on there. So all of that time, and they didnāt even put it together right.
Im usually very understanding of mistakes and I never complain when I can tell people are busy and swamped. But there was no reason for 5 people to take that long to make the 2 sandwiches and to do so incorrectly at that. The remake was out in less than 5 min and I appreciate the girl who took over to do that. The reason Iām upset is this has become the regular thing to expect here - and at this rate, this will be the next business to leave town. At this point Subway would be quicker, friendlier and less chances of mistakes. I donāt know if Iāll be returning to this establishment, which is frustrating as I like the sandwiches. I want to eat there - but itās not worth the piss...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGOT FOOD POISONING FROM EXPIRED MEAT. Ate here last week on Saturday and got a grilled chicken sandwich. Ate one or two bites and noticed and it tasted sour . The color was a little off (kinda green looking) the taste was so bad so I went to the workers and told them about it. The girl was super nice, younger probably high school or college (they all were) and looked at me and apologized a ton saying that the chicken actually expired that previous Thursdayā¦. She made me a new sub (didnāt get a refundā¦) but she did add a free cookie which was nice but I wouldāve preferred my money back. My stomach is sensitive so in my mind I knew I was getting sick. And next thing you know, that same night from 3-6am I was up with food poisoning, throwing up for hours and diarrhea. It wrecked me⦠So needless to say I donāt think Iāll ever be going to firehouse subs again haha.. and donāt think I can eat grilled chicken subs for the next year.
Workers were nice but definitely not paying attention to the food. Hopefully itās a learning experience to ALWAYS check expirations dates before feeding to customers. And hopefully fire house subs starts implementing new rules to check ALL the food. ESPECIALLY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally disappointed with our order last night. We worked moving furniture all day and wanted a hot meal. We ordered online and had a 30 min. wait time. When we arrived a young female employee was throwing stuff back and forth with the sandwich makers. When we let her know we were here to pick up our order, she barely glanced at where the sandwich line is and said āI think they are still working on it.ā
As we were 3 minutes early, I figure lets get the drinks. The young employee did not have our order up and we had to tell her what the drink size was to get the cups. She went back to throwing something at the sandwich makers. We waited over 5 minutes. As the place started to fill, I noticed one of the sandwich makers just pulls up an already tied bag and announces my name.
The 2 large specialty subs were luke warm. The mac n cheese was cold. Exactly how long our order sat there is debatable. All i know is after a hard day of work, it would have been nice to have a hot meal and not a lukewarm sandwich and cold mac n cheese. Usually the food is better but after last night, I think I will go to...
