Summary: Do not shop here for appliances. I was warned, I should have listened. Please read below.
July 2021-purchased brand new LG washer and dryer set from Home depot Casper.
September 2021- notified that product was damaged and reordered in August, dryer would be delivered after they arrive sometime in October. They never called me, or emailed. I had to call them.
October 2021- Washer and dryer delivered. Heating element does not work in dryer. Replacement ordered.
December 29 2021- replacement (the third dryer if you're keeping track) is delivered. The packaging was untouched but after removing it there was a dent so large that the dryer was leaning about an inch toward the dented side. A replacement was reordered ( the 4th dryer). Home depot customer service was called. They offered 150.00 in compensation in the form of a home depot gift card. This was refused and a refund was processed which should return to me in 5 days.
Consequences for me: I haven't been able to do laundry without paying several dollars in almost 6 months. I have spent days ...DAYS...cumulatively on the phone with Home Depot trying to correct the issue. I have a dryer cord and vent that cannot be returned and also is useless since I have no dryer.
I now have a washer and no dryer, and will be forced to buy a dryer that does not match this washer...this is especially bad because we have a washer that syncs to WIFI and pairs with the dryer. That feature, which I payed for, is now useless.
Consequences for home depot: nothing
This is a criminal organization. They have stolen my time and money. They are constantly on television promoting their service to Americas Veterans. I did three tours and 12 years and I have to say I don't think this constitutes the service they profess to live up to.
I will never, under any circumstances shop at a Home depot again. I will take every opportunity to share this story and encourage people to refrain from shopping at Home Depot. I am saying that with full knowledge that it is the only major dealer of appliances and hardware in my small town and that I will have to drive 2.5 hours to get to the nearest Lowe's, and rent a truck to deliver my own...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered an online order for pickup as I live out of state now. Casper is my hometown so I still return to do my personal business. First, they told me that some of the things I had ordered were unavailable. Upon my arrival to their store, I go inside to find a replacement for my missing items. Wouldn't you know, my stuff is actually in stock, right there on the shelf where it's supposed to be. Everyone was snotty, acted like I was bothering them even though they were standing around at 7:30am, chatting with each other. Throngs of 3-5 employees in a group, standing around ignoring people trying to speak to them or find out where to go. Upon loading, I discovered they tried to give me a baseboard propack that was extremely damaged, all the way down the twelve foot length. The associate tried to load it in my truck and I looked at him and said, "I'm not taking this, its really damaged." He was just blown away by the fact I refused that propack that he'd picked out for me. $131 of product that I couldn't use a single board of. I got nothing but attitude, ignored, huffing, puffing, and eye rolling. I expected more out of a middle aged man, since they say all the bad employees are young and don't want to work. Not this guy. I hope there are cameras in the covered loading area. The employee needs a different job if he's that miserable or retraining on how to do the job he was hired to do.
I won't be returning here. Casper Menards blew this Home Depot so far out of the water is not even funny. I will never return to your location and won't send a cent there. I will also tell all of my friends and neighbors (most of which do their own repairs and upgrades too), about this miserable service and experience that I've had there. Ā Ā Ā Read moreStore 6001 (Casper, WY). I had the worst customer service today, 6/1/24. I ordered a riding mower on 7 May 2024. Products were canceled on 10 May 2024 without a refund until I contacted customer service on 17 May 2024. The mower did not ship until 3 days after the original delivery date of 5/22/24. The mower arrived at the Casper location on 5/30/24. I went to the store in the morning to inquire about my order. The guy working the customer service counter did verify the unit was in the receiving area, but had yet to be assembled. He then had the supervisor come over to talk with me. At this point, I was becoming very irritated that I had to wait nearly 2 weeks over the original delivery date. I informed the supervisor that I requested to speak with a manager and was brushed off. So 2 hours after arriving at the store the supervisor informs me my mower is ready. He then proceeds to lead my wife and me out of the store and around to the receiving area, then point to my mower and walks off. Never took any time to answer any questions or assistance in moving the mower to the front of the store. No assistance was offered in loading the mower either.
