Burlington — Local services in Casselberry

I had a very bad experience at this location with manager Jorge and cashier Melanie (both Spanish speaking and doing so under their breath while assisting me)

I have been a loyal customer at Burlington for years, but at this visit, I was treated like a thief because I needed to exchange a $10 vest for a larger size!

I had purchased over $400 in merchandise on that receipt, and I was buying more items over $50, I have an account with Burlington and my phone number with all my transactions,

Yes, I was treated as though I was trying to steal a $10 vest! It was a very unpleasant experience and showed the lack of discernment on the part of that staff.

I offered Jorge an opportunity to make the experience more positive by apologizing for the manner in which he addressed me.

He said there's nothing he can do about it because I didn't buy the vest even thoughIhad the receipt!... How absurd and unacceptable! I hope someone gives him some training on common sense and reasoning in order to value Burlington's...

Had high expectations for opening day and had two items to look for: either a nice red blouse or a white one. The store is spacious, well organized and in a great location where a Stein Mart used to be. The dressing rooms are very spacious and elegant . Best part of the store. But the visit was disappointing and the excitement faded soon. Clothing quality left much to be desired.The accessories department is basically non existent. A tiny section while other stores have rack after rack of bracelets, necklaces, earrings etc. Ended up buying two skirts but one of them made in Turkey has the workmanship of made in China. Obviously I used the $5 discount they offered at the door as part of the grand opening. But in reality will continue to shop at Ross &TJMaxx next door. That's exactly what I did once I left. I stopped by Burlington recently looking for some clothing in Big & Tall sizes, and I was honestly impressed. The selection was better than I expected—plenty of options for both casual and dressier styles, and the prices were great. It’s not always easy to find a decent variety in my size, so this was a nice surprise.

The store itself was clean, well-organized, and easy to shop. I didn’t feel overwhelmed or like I had to dig through a mess to find what I needed. Staff were friendly and available if I had questions, but not hovering—which I appreciate.

Overall, a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience. I’ll definitely be coming back when I need to refresh...
