I am a loyal customer of Super 8 for 7 years. I eat on average 2 to 3 times a month from delivery menu. So to say I have an experienced opinion would be an understatement. I have never written a food revue before , but after reading, what I can only imagine to be difficult customers to begin with, horrible reviews of a great place. I decided to provide what I believe to be an accurate review of both their Chinese and Sushi delivery menu. Let me first say, I have eaten at many Asian food eateries spanning low end to very high end from here to California (where I believe some of best Asian food in America can be found). So with that said, as a takeout and delivery specialty restaurant. Super 8 is one of the best, if not the best, I have ever had and especially the quality you receive to your door at such an amazing value. Their sushi is always fresh, ALWAYS, and they always provide abundant cuts (they never skimp). I almost always order their Eel Roll, Rainbow Roll, Alaskan Roll, Tuna, Salmon, or Octopus Maki Rolls as regular items, but have also tried many of their other specialty Rolls and have NEVER been disappointed in the food prepared. They also offer Miso Soup. As for their Chinese Menu, my preferred items are their Beef and Broccoli, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Shrimp or Chicken Lo Mein, with Pork Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup. The FOOD IS ALWAYS EXCELLENT!!! When it comes to customer service they are always friendly and eager to please. To say an order has never had an error would be ridiculous with the amount of orders I have made, but in those very few occurrences when I made a call to report error I was never questioned and the correction was delivered with no questions asked. They do at times have very busy periods and it is sometimes hard to get through and when connection does get through it doesn't sound from background to be a sophisticated call system for receiving and taking orders, but it works and staff seem to work very hard to get orders to customers correct and on time despite limited call system technology. If I had one suggestion it would be to upgrade their call system, it would vastly improve the number of orders being made and decrees and irritated customers trying to place orders for delivery. Even with that said, their delivery times are on average 30 - 45 min and have never to my knowledge reached an hour. Their drivers are always pleasant.

Read moreMy family and I had been ordering from here for about 2 years and a couple weeks ago my son made his regular order (something that he always orders never changes due to food allergy) and they sent him something that he's HIGHLY ALLERGIC to instead. We called back to let them know THEIR mistake they said that's not what was ordered (which is obviously an ununtrue statement) I reiterated to the person who answered the phone that my son can be hospitalized or worse due to the food allergy and we've ordered the same thing for him always never changed and you delivered him something that is obviously either not his order or you took the wrong order. The person again stated that my son ordered something that he's highly allergic to. I stated yet again that I don't know anybody who would purposely call a restaurant and order something they're allergic to, and then asked what they would do to rectify the situation I was told nothing would be done because that's what he ordered
My sons allergy this was not considered when I called to ask what happened, nor was our food refunded nor was an apology made. We were just told that that's our problem Definitely not good customer service and you definitely lost a customer.

I ordered food for pickup last night as I was really sick and craving the ginger salad, a simple clear soup and a small order of California roll. I got nothing right in my order which wasn't realized until it was brought home to me. It's kind of confusing bc my exact order was stapled to the bag full of a completely incorrect order. They gave me a crap ton of raw fish assorted, the wrong sushi roll and the wrong soup entirely. The only thing they got right was the salad and it was swimming in dressing the salad was practically wilted when I got it. The person said they reiterated the order a couple of times when they went to pick it up for me and apparently she was extremely confused and handed them my bag with the correct order on it but not in it.im usually pretty understanding and patient but this experience was a joke and I'm pretty sure I got someone else's order entirely. If you're confused just don't give the customer the food and hope for the best? Maybe make sure you didn't mix up entirely different orders before handing it a person bc it shouldn't have been this difficult for such a simple order. A sick chick just wanted her...
