La Granja Casselberry — Restaurant in Casselberry

This must be a fairly new La Granja! I haven't been over this way in awhile and it wasn't here the last time I was in this plaza. Very spacious and clean. Menu is large and easy to follow. Food came out very quickly as well. So let me say, la granja is absolutely not "just a fast food restaurant" it is a restaurant that just so happens to have a drive through. This food is a cut above others. 100%. I have been to several Peruvian restaurants, and La granja is still my favorite. They have THE BEST aguadito. Their lomo salteado is so so so good. And their Chupe is fantastic. Can't go wrong with their seafood rice either. This will also sound silly. But their white rice is some of the best damn white rice I've ever had. I don't know what kind of magic is going into that stuff, but it's perfect. I can only assume it's cooked with lard? I am in love with their white rice. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! On lunch break I order pick up they answer the phone speaking spanish. Its hard for me understand someone take my order. I order small bowl with only vegetables and noodles. I get there she says 18.35. Today is Saturday. The young lady at the counter could not speak English. If I was not in America that would have fine. She translated via the phone that someone took my order WRONG. That I had to take the large order or leave it. That they could not allow me to purchase a smaller one. It was just me and again I am on my lunch break. Its sad I can't find a place that sells veggies sautéeed. Just made it home from grabbing dinner here and the Seafood Fried Rice with the La Granja Chicken Bowl were both on our table. Pollo tropical used to be at this address and La Granja seemed to be the best place to replace them. The seafood fried rice is a 9/10 for me only because the first batch had a small piece of hair on the side yet they made a new one with no questions asked. It is a hefty plate for anyone considering it though and the bowl was rated a 7/10 because the sweet plantains were not as fresh as they could be.
