They definitely deserve 20+ stars! I donāt know why there are so many negative reviews,Iām thinking itās not Dimond pet food that is the problem, but the drivers showing up with a bad attitude! Let me start by saying this⦠I had an appointment for Wednesday 9/3/25 at 12:30pm. I completed my deliveries on Tuesday 9/2/25 in Fla. around 11:00am. I had enough time on my clock to make it to Dimond Pet Food around 18:30pm. I decided to call ahead and ask the shipping department what the their hours were and could I possibly get loaded when I arrived. The gentleman who answered the phone was really cool and informed me that I could definitely get loaded when I arrived. I arrived around 18:30-18:40pm, scaled in and checked in with the shipping department. I was there possibly 15 minutes and was given dock 9. Backed in, and went into Sleeper berth, anticipating a long wait ( due to ALL the negative reviews) Well, I was in the dock maybe 3 hours and my load was completed! Walked in and got my paperwork and asked theā very cool dudeā in the office if I could finish my 10 in the dock because there was no other trucks there. He said ānah, but you can go up to the Back drop yard and find a spot where you can shut down and just scale out in the morningā So I Pulled up the hill where they have their dropped trailers, found a spot. Shut down and got a good, quiet night sleep. Scaled out ( was absolutely perfect on my axle weights ) and went on my way to completing my delivery.
I have to say, this business has it Together, and was the most pleasant and enjoyable experience as far as a driver! I canāt express enough how respectful and professional this shipper was to deal with! They not only were happy to accommodate me, even though I was 12+ hours early for my appointment, but they were respectful of my HOS and allowed me to shut down, and finish my 10 hr Reset.
As to any drivers coming here, I have to sayā¦.ā Donāt listen to ANY review other than mine! If you come in and treat the employees with respect and kindness, they will reciprocate that attitude right back to you and make your time there the best experience you could ever ask for!

As of 1:23 PM, I remain waiting, while the driver next to me, who arrived two hours later, was promptly assigned a loading dock and began receiving service.
When I inquired about the delay at door 9, the response I received was not only unhelpful but dismissive: āI donāt know, Iām not out there loading.ā This lack of accountability is unacceptable. In an industry where timely service is paramount, it is concerning that the labor force appears to be insufficiently staffed to handle the demand.

Only thing is if you have never been here before ask at the scale house exactly how to get to the door you are going to. I can tell you from experience if you are going to door 8 as soon as you go under the breezeway and get to the end of the building look to your right you will see door #8 STOP THERE WALK IT OFF AND DO YOUR TURNAROUND IN THE OPEN AREA ON YOUR LEFT. Then you can easily back around the corner to the door. If you are not in a daycab you will have a rough time if you make the right hand turn and will likely have to back all the way back out and turn around in the open area anyways. All in all they do their job well here. Some things just take time and it is for seasonal veteran drivers that understand this is not a 15 min drop and hook turn around.........*Update returned and delivered to a separate part of the plant to different set of docks and again everyone friendly, professional and efficient.
