Cedar Valley Roofing did a great job replacing my roof. Nelson and his crew were very professional and personable while remaining in communication with me throughout the project as well as after completion.

They were very timely in all aspects of the job, keeping their commitments as stated.

They provided me an estimate in person at my home rather than via email, text or phone call. They explained everything to me in detail and provided copies of their credentials (licensing, bonding and insurance) without my having to request them.

In this day and age, where one is lucky to even get a response from a contractor of any type, let alone a commitment and follow-through on that commitment, Nelson and crew were a breath of fresh air. I do not exaggerate when I say this.

They were able to remove and replace my entire roof in one day and that included the clean-up afterwards.

After completion clean-up was also very good although I have since found a number of missed roofing nails. That said, I have had two roofs replaced in years past and therefore expected to find a few so this was not an issue for me. I am aware that it is just not possible to find every loose nail in spite of any roofer's best efforts.

In summary, Nelson and his crew were simply exceptional. And that is not an exaggeration. I cannot say enough good about the job they did and, therefore, would not hesitate to recommend them to someone looking to replace their roof.

We are more than excited for our new roof on our rental house! It was 23-ish years old and had several spots of missing shingles. Nelson was able to get our insurance company onboard and although it took some time for that process to happen we are very pleased with the outcome.

In 2 days CVR had the house and a large detached garage started and finished. They work so hard and put in long days and it was nice that our renters didn’t have to put up with a weeks long project. The quality of the shingles are so much nicer than what’s on some of the new houses in the neighborhood. Just had new gutters put up and it looks great. Someone commented about some leftover nails and I had the same experience. I’m not sure where they come from but they like to surprise you after the Cedar winds come through. I checked the driveway daily for a week and made sure all was clear. Not a big deal. We forgot to talk about it but they also chose the dark metal vents instead of chrome. Love that color choice so much more!!!

I typically do most construction work myself because I get so disappointed with contractors doing substandard work. I went out on a limb this time and hired Cedar Valley Roofing, partly because i'm getting too old to do this kind of work. Since day one I have been very impressed with this company. Not only were they great to work with, they also provided information up front that I would typically have to ask for, like certificate of insurance, local license, state license, owens corning preferred contractor certificate. Holy cow, I thought, these guys are really on the ball. I wonder if their work is as good as their presentation. I am happy to say I was not disappointed. They were very good with detail and did several things I would not have expected. We have recommended them to several of our neighbors and also hired them to do more work. I have a reputation of being a hard nosed complainer when it comes to quality, but there literally is nothing negative to say about this company. Great job to all of...
