When I first walked in the door I knew my experience in that store would not be a pleasant one. First off, I was not greeted at the door even though at least 3 employees were visible. I dismissed that and walked to the shoe display (smallest selection I ever seen). After about 2 minutes I knew which shoes I wanted to try on so I waited on a salesperson to assist me. 17 minutes go by as I stand in one spot without even as much as a "hello" from the staff. I'm 100% sure everyone in that building saw me at some point. I walked up to a female employee to tell her my issue and she says "what do you need" with an attitude. That did not help! I walk over to the register and ask the well dressed black gentleman what do I need to do to get service. I pointed out all the other customers that were getting help as I stood in place for 17 minutes. He said he did not see me and I told him everyone else did. Plus I could clearly hear at least 3 employees in the back doing everything but working... He was very apologetic and I think he really wanted to try and make up for his incompetent staff but at that point I couldn't spend a dime in that store and never will again. By the way, I'm a black man and every customer that was getting help...
Read moreHorrible customer service. My father needed a tuxedo later that week. Walked in. Noticed 2 parties ahead of us. Patiently waited. Employee never acknowledged us. Waited about 45 minutes before my father had to find a seat because he uses a cane. As employee started assisting the 2nd party. I had to stop her and ask her " does he need to complete their form." She finally acknowledged we were in the building. She mentioned he could try on tuxedo jackets to find his size. Employee could have at least acknowledged our presence and let us know she will assist us momentarily. Or asked us to go ahead and complete form. She could have even showed concern and directed my elderly parents to look around or have a seat until she could assist us. I understand being short staffed, but there should have been human decency to show courtesy to the elderly. Complete waist of time. If you need a larger size, I suggest looking at another company. I hope I never have to go back to the Cedar Hill Men’s Wearhouse. I can not believe how rude we were treated. Just ignored...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. First off the customer service at this location is horrendous. You will be told several different things by different employees. They messed up my Husband’s suit for our wedding. Not only that. But they messed up on EVERYONES SUITS. We had 7 grooms men, an officiant, and my two brothers. Every suit was messed up. We were told since we had so many suits in our party the Groom’s suit would be free. They told us they would get us the proper colored suit for my Husband and fix the mistakes on the others. Welp guess what never happened. They called half way through the wedding saying “sorry the suits it didn’t make it. Come in and speak to a manager and we will take care of you” my Husband went in today and was told that he was required to pay for his suit and that they would take $140 off for just him. For messing up everything including our wedding day. AVOID THIS PLACE. I have worked retail most of my life I have NEVER been more disappointed. $6,000 worth of photography and over $12,000 worth of suits...
