I went online and ordered a Samsung Gear Fit 2, to be picked up at the Cedar Hill location. The Target website has the item listed as one size fits all, but it's not, it comes in Small and Large. I need a Small, so I called the store before picking up to make sure it would be right. The associate I spoke to assured me it would be a Small. I picked it up, went to put it on, and it's too big. Check the box and it's a Large. I called the store and they said they don't have a Small in stock. Called several other stores in my area, they either don't answer the phone, or don't have a Small in stock. I finally found a location (South Arlington) that had it. The associate I spoke to said they only had one and refused to hold it for me, even after I explained everything i had been through, and that the mistake was Target's fault in the first place. Got my kids in the car and drove 30 minutes to get there immediately, and they did not have a Small. Either the associate was incorrect, or they sold it within the 30 minutes it took me to drive there. So then I called their Customer Service center and explained all this, and asked if the CSR on the phone was able to locate a Small near me and have the store hold it for me. She kept putting me on hold, and then coming back and suggesting stores that did not have a Small in stock (I had just called them), then told me she couldn't specifically look for a Small. I asked for the department to file a complaint, and she said they didn't have one. My complaint isn't against the Cedar Hill location specifically, it's a complaint against the Target website and Customer Service call center, as well as the Cedar Hill and South Arlington locations. I usually like Target, but this is not the first time I've had issues like this, and it's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been doing drive up service for awhile at Target in Cedar Hill especially with online promotions to do so. Lately Iāve been experiencing extremely rude Target associates bringing out my items. Shoving my things in the window instead of using the door today and earlier this week having my door slammed extremely hard because your employee was upset I asked that she not beat on my passenger window to get my attention. It took awhile to come out and that was fine but I didnāt notice she went to that window instead of the driver side which I was sitting here browsing in your app while I waited. Today in addition to rude associates my items were brought out without a bag. So am I supposed to walk up 4 flights of stairs with all my items smh. I literally had to ask for a bag to be brought to me. Whatās going on at Target! You guys appeared to be better than your competition but whatās happening?! Iāve been shopping with you guys a few times a week since February but I may have to reconsider. I appreciate promotions but I prefer good customer service more than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Target like so many others was clean and professional, which is very appreciated. The bakery is full of temptations and the cosmetic area has much to explore in a condensed area. The food section has really expanded their options of plant-based items to almost be considered impressive. But this location doesn't have a much to offer in the women's clothing and accessories departments (if you're plus-sized it's not worth the time to glance). So I still recommend Target, just not the Cedar Hill location for your wardrobe needs.
P.S. I was informed during this visit that Target no longer gives the 5 cent discount for using reusable bags unless it's a Target bag. I don't know if this is company wide but value/environmentally conscious shoppers, be aware.
UPDATE Target informed me that I was previously misinformed. Their bag policy has not changed. Every reusable bag (no matter the logo) is eligible for the 5 cent discount. š I consider this one of the perks of shopping at Target. Every...
