Starbucks — Restaurant in Cedar Hill

If I could give it negative stars I would. I have never gotten good customer service at this place, because of the same employee but today was the worst. Cooper, aka Arias, started to take my order then walked away to help someone with their phone. Came back and I got one thing out and he walked away again. I ordered 2 strawberry green tea drinks and he told me there was only enough for one. Told him I would take the one and ordered 2 pink drinks and a caramel frappuccino, total of 4 drinks. He told me the total and walked away. I paid for it, he never came back and I never got offered a receipt. When the order was ready, I received 2 of the strawberry green tea drinks that he told me there was only enough to make one of. He never came back to tell me there was enough for two drinks. The frapucinno was put on the counter followed by 2 pink drinks. I asked him if I paid for 5 drinks when I only ordered 4, he stated no but could not produce a receipt when I requested one. This kid is rude everytime I go in there, this incident prompted a phone call to the store manager. The other 2 employees were very nice and so was the store manager. I used to think of Starbucks first when I needed somewhere comfortable and consistent to take a minute to use public WiFi, have a cup of coffee and have access to a restroom. This location is NOT the place to do so. 10:00 in the morning, so had ordered and sat down with my laptop to do some work before getting on with my day and they were BLARING Disney music. While I don’t generally mind Disney music, i know I don’t get to dictate what other people listen to, it was painfully loud and other patrons were obviously bothered too. I didn’t have the opportunity to speak to a worker about it, but just be aware this location had this issue. Updated review! Went today, 6.2.22, and Chris was the only one on duty. He handled it with grace and a smile! I asked for a Chai latte with oat milk and asked very nicely if he would make sure nothing with regular milk touched it because I wasn't going home 😂. He did it with a smile and as he pulled the items needed he told me along the way that these items were not used. It was fantastic!!! He deserves a bonus Starbucks!
