Impressed would be an understatement. I had a needle break on my Fisher Standard turn table over Christmas. I felt terrible because we couldn’t listen to the new records we received as gifts. I asked if they carried something that would work. And I got the HOOK UP! They didn’t have the exact part but they did have something that worked. He gave me all the instruction and tips I needed so I could change it out and how to adjust the tracking and weight after install. My turn table has never sounded so good. He also gave me his card and said if I had any trouble just call him and he would walk me through it. Or I could bring it in and he would take care of it. I didn’t know anything about the different cartridges, needles and other parts that effect sound quality. He gave me straight answers and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly to talk to. The store has a great selection of vinyl and other musical medias and also new turntables and parts. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!!!!! Well done...

Prices were steep. I like to support local businesses, especially record stores, but I know what those records go for and what online wholesalers sell them for. If you're higher than other stores by an unacceptable amount I'll support the online wholesaler instead. It doesn't give me that warm feeling I get holding a record, looking at it, and deciding to buy it, and it's putting small business out of business, but if I know you got that on millions of records for $4-10 and you're trying to get 25-30 bucks I can't support you. The used records were priced what the new records should have cost. If it's not rare, I'm not paying $15 for something I can get for $2-5 at a record show back in Chicago or on Discogs... So I'm too spoiled to buy anything here but they had a decent collection, staff seemed nice, plenty of inventory. I wouldn't go back, but it might work for this...

The new owner is brining in a ton of new and used vinyl and equipment of exceptional quality. I recently purchased some pretty expensive (but fairly priced) gear. I have opened up this equipment to troubleshoot problems. (Problems that I created.) When I do it is clear that they are not throwing things on the shelf hoping for the best. Everything is clean, tidy, and in fantastic condition. The stickers say the equipment has been serviced before sale and my observation says that is 100% true. I could not be happier with my purchases. The selection of new and used records has really scaled up. Lots of mofi pressings!
