I watched the employee put a customer’s sandwich in the toaster oven then walk over to another business's booth at Newbo. Three other customers came and went after waiting for someone to show up. Then I heard a timer going off and saw the other customer frantically waiting for her sandwich to stop burning. Another couple waited at least 5 minutes while the employee was still chatting with someone at the other booth. She looked back several times and saw this couple, but seemed to want them to just walk away. I felt like I was on a different planet and couldn’t believe what I witnessing. First of all, thank you for having coconut milk as a dairy alternative! We tried a dirty chai latte and cinnamon latte which were some of the best lattes we’ve ever had. Absolutely love that they make their own syrups and even their own chai mix. Additionally, we appreciated they increase the number of espresso shots as the cup size increases, so you know you’re getting a great drink (unlike many places that water it down). The NewBo Roasters was a pleasant place for a hot drink on a cold day. They have a good selection of teas to choose from and the price seems pretty reasonable.

The worker was friendly and helped me learn about some of their more exotic tea options.

The tea I ordered was Holy Basil Detox. I found it to be quite refreshing; basil turned out to be surprisingly good as a tea herb.
