Bohemia — Local services in Cedarburg

Cute store, but not pleased with my experience. I bought a small wooden sign today for my daughters room, and as I turned around I saw a different small painting I wanted instead. I walked back to the cashier to exchange before even leaving the store (the second painting I wanted was more expensive) and was told no refunds on consignment pieces. However, there was nothing noted on either piece saying it was a consignment piece. If there are no refunds/exchanges on certain items in the store then they need to be marked as such. I asked the girl behind the counter what counted as consignment pieces and she could not really give an answer, just told me the computer would tell her when she rang the item up.

This store has really cute stuff and I wish I could give it a five star but the customer service always seems to fall (very) short. I’ve been in a couple times in the past months and am barely (if at all) acknowledged even if I am the only person there. The employees seem not interested in helping customers and even have been on their phone the whole time I’m checking out. I love this shop so much it’s one of my favorites in Cedarburg! There’s always something cute that I can pick up for someone’s birthday or event. Prices are a little on the higher side but the overall experience makes it worth it. It definitely gives off that small town business energy your looking for.
