We hired From Scratch for our wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased. From our first interaction with Addie, we felt completely supported and guided through the process. I felt pretty clueless, but Addie didn't make me feel that way. She listened to my vision and helped me create a menu that we and my guests would love. When we did our walk through of the venue, I was having a stressful day. Donna and Emmie were wonderful - they kept me calm and helped me think through venue set up (we did stations). I was honestly a mess and those two helped me keep it together!

And WOW! Day of, I was so impressed with set up. It was perfect. I did passed apps during cocktail hour. My guests loved it. They flipped the room so quickly as our ceremony and reception were in the same place. They literally made my day stress-free. And the food!! My guests RAVED (and are still talking about it 4 months later!) about the food. I was told the mashed potatoes should be illegal and the trendy salad was good enough to be a main course on it's own. As foodies, it's all we really wanted - people to remember the food. And Emmie was so attentive - she even made sure I ate at dinner - as most brides do feel too anxious to eat! Huge thank you to Donna, Addie, Emmie and the whole team at From Scratch. I see you do anniversary dinners, remaking our wedding dinner. We WILL be doing that. :)

As for the bad review I see here... it's disappointing to read. Donna and team are incredibly accommodating. They will alter any item on their menu to your taste. And I'm sorry, but having come through to the other side, planning a wedding is so hard and a bride tries to think of everything. Accommodating every little dietary need is exhausting... So I'd say, if you have one or know of one, mention it and try it! If you don't like it, I'm confident Donna and team will find a way to meet your needs in a really delicious way! And to the one star reviewer... would you say this to the bride's face? Or was it easier to come here and leave a one star review calling out the caterer and the bride? My husband and I like to think of ourselves as self-certified foodies, so early on in our wedding planning process, food was ranked at the very top of our priority list. We researched the required caterers for our venue and came across From Scratch, who came highly recommended by a close friend's sister.

From the moment we reached out, we were met with exceptional service, including timely communication, genuine support, and incredibly honest, transparent feedback. This transparency ultimately made our decision easy. When we attended our tasting last December, our choice was completely validated. Every single bite was incredible, especially when paired with their signature almond iced tea—it was truly magic! We couldn't stop raving about the food leading up to the wedding day, and we were so excited for our friends and family to finally experience the hype.

On the day itself, From Scratch absolutely delivered. All night, and even in the coming weeks, people have been reaching out to tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. From Scratch genuinely raised the bar on what it means to serve high-quality, memorable food to your closest friends and family.

Beyond the meal, you could truly feel and see the passion the team invests into their craft. Coming from a big family that bonds over cooking and shared meals, the atmosphere they created felt like a wonderful, communal family dinner.

The team also did a good job navigating the inevitable small hiccups that pop up throughout the night and helping to fix the situation quickly. (Our only small piece of advice for the future is to keep the bride and groom shielded from these minor issues, but we appreciated their commitment to helping resolve them!)

I want to second the entire review posted from my wife Emily. We could not be happier to have hired "From Scratch Catering" for our wedding cocktail hour, dinner, and late-night snacks. The entire staff were so kind and accommodating. Addie was our event coordinator, and we could not have trusted anyone else to run the catering that day. She went above and beyond out of her way to make sure everything was perfect on our day.

The 2 appetizers we chose (The Smoked Turkey & Apricot Brie Quesadilla and Crispy Asparagus Wraps) during the cocktail hour were delicious, as well as the signature cheese board. The dinner was amazing. We went with The Wedding Salad, Panko Crusted Chicken Tenderloin with Raspberry Cream Sauce, Stuffed Beef Tenderloin with Marsala Sauce, Garlic Smashed Potatoes, and Fresh Brussel Sprouts Au Gratin. A few of our guests had dietary restrictions. From Scratch Catering was able to accommodate their needs with a delicious meal option to meet their specific need. They also set up the late-night snacks for our guests at the perfect time, and the Mac 'N Cheese If You Please Bar was a huge hit. The high-end disposable plates, gold silverware, tablecloths, and napkins made the vision for our wedding dinner come to life.
