Was our first time and wouldnt do it again. The streets were over crowded, the food/drink vendors had extremely long lines, not a lot of actual strawberry themed things, no clear indication which vendors accepted cash vs card (very few had signs), pricing seemed to change throughout the day (a piece of strawberry shortcake ran from $6 -$9 a slice with some prices having been taped over) and no sense of order to anything. Assuming this event has been running awhile i fail to see why they didnt try to separate the streets so traffic flowed each way. At times we were swallowed up by waves of people taking the entire street going in 1 direction. Moving the vendors to the sidewalk would help but also there should have been traffic cones or something to spilt things up. Read moreIn general we usually enjoy it. This Sunday it was not a good experience. There are a lot of cash only vendors and a lot of non working ATM machines. There was no room to walk. The booths should be set up on the sidewalks. The lines for food were super long and are not sectioned off so people didn’t know what line they were in. A lot of the vendors were running out of food and it was only 2:00. We finally got in a line for food and got turned away just as we were next in line because they had to stop taking orders to prep more food.
