I love the store and spices. They're always high quality. My biggest problem however is the pro life demonstrator who is seen out front of their shop from time to time. His signs have the penzys logo on them so there is no saying that hes doing this without the stores permission or backing. My discomfort does not stem from whether I agree or disagree with his political affiliation or moral outrage at the subject but rather the blatant display of support by penzys. You are a business, can you really afford to alienate potential customers like that? Not only is Washington street a busy place for shoppers but many local children hang out there after school and on weekends. They dont need to be exposed to signs that make grotesque claims. I had a rough day after visiting a dear friend in hospice in Milwaukee and they picked up on it and were so kind and tender with me. I did purchase some gifts and as I was walking out one of the store staff gave me a hug blanket. He was so sweet and I thought about him all the way home. 3 hours north.
