I have never had such terrible nails. I came in to get them done for my wedding. I told them I wanted blue nails. I wanted a design, but they just did a white French tip because white goes with everything. When I said something, they changed techs and painted them blue. The underside was hideous (which people did see and commented on at the wedding). The acrylic nail didnāt touch my cuticle. It looked like they had been growing out for 2 weeks when I got them done. The nails were the wrong size so they caused so much pain until removed. They were falling off after a week. I had a lot of anxiety going in, but thought they would take care of the bride. They were supposed to last until after my honeymoon, but didnāt. I asked about some issues with the nail and they told me it was because I bite my nails. I have never chewed on my nail. Theyāre just short. Other salons have been able to do my nails without any issues. They told me I should have spoken up and I did and still left with the worst nails I have ever seen FOR MY WEDDING.
At the time, I was contemplating making manicures part of my beauty routine, but the pain and embarrassment was too much for me to ever consider doing again. There wasnāt an apology. I did get a refund, but I feel like refunding money and saying, āyou should have said something at the timeā (when I did multiple times)...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe first time I went here I had Julie. She did a great job on my nails. Nhi did my pedicure. It was during the Paris Olympics. I scheduled an appointment for Julie again however was told she was off on Tuesdays. I was scheduled for both services with Nhi. Every time Nhi does my nails, they either break, lift, or come off all together. I gave her another chance two weeks ago, the whole time she was laughing and talking to the tech next to her. She cut my cuticle and I jumped a little. She seemed to get an attitude when I asked her to remove the polish, glue, and acrylic off of my fingers. I still tipped her, but didnāt want to use her for my nails. I called to schedule with Julie and was told āNhiā didnāt feel comfortable doing my nails. Exactly, she shouldnāt do anyoneās nails. This shop was a step down from what I was accustomed to anyway, but I gave it a try. I didnāt complain and could have, but this will do. Iām also not accustomed to giving money away especially for subpar service! They donāt even massage lotion on your hands, but itās supposed to be a manicure! These businesses no longer respect their customers and believe that they deserve your money for anything. Theyāve gotten s little too entitled. Iāll go to a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI thought I had seen/heard it all. I have been going to Beyond Nails for 14 years! I am an excellent tipper and have had my nails done every two weeks by either Sandy or T. I have paid them very, VERY well over the years and am a very nice person to deal with. However, the last time, I asked if I could get nail extensions for a wedding and they weren't quite what I had hoped. T said not to pay him but I absolutely did anyway. I think someone should get paid for their work whether I like it or not. Today, I attempted to make an appointment and Vin, the owner, told me that they no longer wanted to do my nails. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Do you have any idea how much money I have spent over the years??? Thousands. Yet this is how a loyal customer is treated???? Never again. I'm so disappointed especially because I NEVER made a fuss, NEVER criticized them and recommended them to so many people, I can't even count. Furthermore, they will ask you if you want certain things and then upcharge you without even telling you. Then you get a nice surprise at the end when they tell you how much it's going to be. I have a very big mouth and I will make sure to tell EVERYONE about this...
