Bravo Italiano Caffè 42 — Local services in Central City

Unexpectedly, Bravo Italiano was open today to our pleasure. The owner, Steve was so laid back and into some sampling and discussion about regional tastes of Italy. We spent the better part of an hour hanging out and visiting. Tasting various cheeses, olive oils and balsamic vinegars. His description of each was spot on and the variety was superb. There’s all kinds of different sauces, pasta, snacks and goodies. Not to forget that he has an espresso machine ready to go for an awesome caffè. But I think his pride shows when he gets into his oils, cheese and balsamic. Almost forgot, he’s got a couple of homemade Pesto sauces that are awesome and some “come dolce” as well. We were in the area for a gallery opening when we noticed the shop and walked in to find the owner and another couple in a tasting of fine olive oils and aged Balsamic vinegars. We were invited right in and enjoyed the owner's expertise on everything in the tasting. I left with a bag full of the best Italian products, just delicious oils, vinegars, pasta (both dried and frozen), pestos of different flavors, and more. First time here. Was met with welcoming faces. Got a cappuccino with sugar it was some of the best coffee I've had. I was offered some sample of their balsamic vinegars, olive oils and honey butter.
