Honestly I don’t even know where to begin. Steakhouse was incredible. I call myself a meat cooking master, but this had to be the best Ribeye I’ve ever had. Plus, most restaurants overcook a typical “rare”. They had it just right. Perfect. Kudos to our server Tristan (or Trystan) for taking care of us. There was a minor mix up in a cut of meat, and he immediately offered a solution to it! The rest of the night? Amazing. After dinner we were escorted to the VIP “king/queen” viewing sections to overlook the entertainment and had plenty of company while there too! Huge shoutout to Kasumi, she hung out with us, and really just was a human being with us. We had bottle service x2, and they had all the fixins for us, offering every mixer they had, and continued to check in to make sure we were ok on fill ups! Tyler the GM was a great host. He continued to check in on us whether it was at dinner in the steakhouse or in the vip section. He gave us some of the history of their time in the location and some insight to what their future may hold! We had some minor hiccups when booking ahead of time, and he was quick to give a solution to the problem, and was great to deal with. I have to give the biggest shoutout to Brianna, who we heard was a manager in training… just give her the keys! She made the night incredible from the start when she picked us up at our casino, to after 4am when she matched us with a driver to return us to our casino. She really was incredible to talk to, just human to human in this crazy world. She continued to check in on us, making sure we were ok on refills or to make sure a performance was “up to par”. She was also running up and down stairs to assist bartenders, answer questions, and give a hand where it was needed. If nothing else, I’ll be returning just to pick up conversation where I left off with her, it was nice to just be able to have a regular conversation with someone who actually cares about having conversation!

Absolutely the best restaurant in black Hawk or central city. Steak was seasoned to perfection. Amanda the bartender made the most amazing Ricks Old Fashioned, highlight of the night . The gooey butter cake was honestly better than I’ve even ever had in Vegas. Extremely nice owner personally took time to talk with us. This place is very new, so be patient. But our experience was top notch. We will be coming back. It is upstairs of the gentleman’s club. Def worth a visit. If you’re not interested in the club, I still recommend coming to dine here. We tried several other steakhouses in town including Roxy’s and this was exponentially better. We shared a 10 oz filet and was enough for both of us but they have a theater menu with a 6oz filet and mashed potatoes for $42 which is a great deal.

Of course I gotta shout out for Rick's Cabaret, I have visited twice and had the time of my life each time. I highly recommend anyone in the area pop in and get a shot of the Blue Label! The bar on the third floor is so elegant and well stocked, the Bacon cheeseburger is the top quality food that I live for and the experience on the 1st and 2nd floor is one that you will never forget! Don't just take my word for it.

Chef is horrible. The beef was saturated in some kind of nasty tasting oil. I ordered well-done and got bloody. A steak restaurant couldn't even get that right. This is actually a real review by a real person. Waited about 30 minutes and then got room temperature water. They didn't ask if I wanted ice. No dinner rolls. If you are made to wait that long, they should give you something. The bloody half pound hamburger definitely wasn't a half pound. If a chef messes up a hamburger, I would hate to waste a hundred dollars and get a messed up steak. I have never spit out food so quickly. It's not difficult to make a hamburger. Why can't chefs cook as good as I can at home? I debated whether to leave a review or not, but this place had such bad service and horrible food I thought someone should write a real review. Now they attack me in response instead of apologizing and fixing the problems. The Chef, the bartender, the minimum wage cook (probably), and whoever wrote the response attacking me needs fired. It's not the "owner". This is a corporation listed on the stock market. The shareholders are the owners. Don't waste your time or money at this place. Horrible people. And they lie and attack me here instead of apologizing and fixing their problems. How was I "extremely tough to accommodate from the start"? I walked in with a friend and was offered a table, and we sat down and waited 30 minutes. So difficult to accommodate. And I ordered well done beef. That's extremely hard to accommodate at a...

I will preempt this review with the fact I have never been here. I saw a few billboards. But that is fact which we should all deal with in the real world. Unlike the passive/aggressive tack that this certain "city council" has taken. 1000 ft from a church is your reasoning? They are not a officially elected representative. They just get to not pay taxes on cash donations, but are only required to serve their elitist electorial base (of like 200 people?). The point is "this is bad, but legalized gambling is fine as long as it steals money from out of towners". "We'll booze you up, claim ignorance, then provide you with a way to benefit our selective old boys network". I have no dog in this fight except I dislike hypocritical people that then form coalitions, who then become self important. For reference I am a 5th generation Coloradan. I saw Central City before and after gambling. Not...
