Easy Street Casino — Attraction in Central City

My grandfather took a final trip to Easy Street last January, 2021. He was on oxygen and in a wheelchair. I attended along with my brother, sister in law and my mom. The way the staff treated my grandfather about wearing a mask, and in general was harassing and unprofessional. This place used to be our favorite casino because it had the kids arcade as well and coin machines. The staff harassed him for how long he took off his mask, to simply take a drink or an extra breath as it was difficult for him to breathe with a mask on and oxygen. All he wanted was one final trip to play on some machines enjoyably, and his visit ended up not pleasant. He passed away in July of 2021. This was an opportunity he never got to enjoy and his final memories at Easy Street were very hateful towards him. I hope that the employees who harassed my grandfather that day never have to feel the pain our family did, knowing that this was their loved ones last wish, and it to become absolutely miserable for that loved one; never getting that opportunity again. Probably the worst run casino in the state. There were maybe two people in the whole casino who didn't appear like their cat committed suicide the night before. I still don't understand why when we had an issue the HR lady came and tried to fix the problem. Apparently there is no chain of command in the building. Then while we were waiting 30 minutes to see a manager, the manager on duty finally came and told us we were loitering and needed to leave. The problem still isn't resolved to this day. The kitchen staff was better at serving than our 94 year old waitress, who cleans her dentures in the dish pit (as overheard by the woman herself). As far as the gambling, there are maybe 3 machines that aren't from the 1980's. In general this is a place to go when you want to be in a bad mood after dealing with...

I thought I was an acquaintance with people here. A few months after playing there, the people were weird, and made discriminating claims. I think based on my name and appearance, visits, possibly accent. Someone here called the sheriff and was making a false claim and identifying me. , These casinos are full of amateur professional gamblers, and people that are too paranoid coming up and getting high in Colorado for the first time. A lot of different scams in the struggling casinos. This is a tourist attraction not Las Vegas go home...
