Unfortunately, this business isn’t ready for consistent patronage. I took my wife there for Saturday brunch and they acted like this was an unexpected visitation.
You enter the front door and it’s confusing whether you seat yourself or order first. After ordering, we waited for 45 minutes and it seemed like our order went to other tables. Hopefully it was just a fluke but I feel a 4 star plus rating is laughable for an establishment of this caliber.
Aside from service, parking was nonexistent and they didn’t have a reliable point of sale system, so I had to just give them cash for soft drinks we ordered.

Read moreWe think the owner is on to something here. As she explained, Lan-Yap, roughly translated, means 'little gift' what a perfect brand once you get it. She is making rolled-up pockets of perfection with all kinds of creative fillings. The outside is flaky and light, the inside is filled with whatever magic you can imagine. We got a few and shared, everything was flavorful and creative. Don't miss the slaw or boudine balls to round out you meal.
