Monte Lobo — Restaurant in Central City

I had a nice, quick lunch here after hiking nearby! I got a variety of the tacos, and I highly recommend the one with the pineapple topping. It doesn’t mention the topping on the menu so you’ll have to ask which one it is (I forget!). While I appreciate the simplicity of the menu, I do think it would be helpful to include these sorts of details.

I also had a margarita flight and my favorite was the strawberry one! Unfortunately there was too much ice in the short glasses. It felt like when Starbucks fills the whole cup with ice and you hardly get any of the actual drink. The bartender was also a bit judgmental when I asked for a sugar rim instead of salt. Absolutely blown away by this place! The tacos are next level — bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and served fresh. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put real care into every bite. I tried a few different kinds and honestly, I can’t even pick a favorite — they were all amazing!

The staff? Incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though the place is newly opened, everything ran smoothly and the vibe was upbeat and inviting. They made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in.

This amazing new taco and tequila bar is the best!!!!! Located on main street in Central City with plenty of parking and the best drinks, food and games!!!! The street tacos with homemade salsa are perfect! They are filling, fresh made and very well priced. The bar is fully stocked and they make new daily varieties of infused tequila, the one we tried was jalapeno cucumber and it was great! So many great games to play, lots of fun for everyone! The building is gorgeous and I love the history. Locally owned, staff is amazing, food is perfect, drinks are strong. I highly recommend Monte Lobo to locals...
