Wehrung's Hardware — Local services in Chalfont

Wehrung’s is a fabulous community hardware store. The staff is absolutely incredible and has helped guide me through a countless number of projects over the years. In my opinion, you will be hard pressed to find this level of service and friendliness in any hardware store!

My latest project involved replacing a mailbox, but not wanting to replace, but simply spray paint, the aluminum post that was cemented into the ground. The new mailbox that I purchased, which wasn’t designed for an underside bracket mount, wasn’t from the same manufacturer as the post. Therefore, something had to be deigned in order to be able to mount the new mailbox to the bracket to the existing post.

Words can’t possibly describe how helpful Dave, Tim and Matt were in assisting me in successfully tacking this project. Dave especially deserves the highest of accolades for all of the time that he spent helping me. I must have been in the store at least twice daily over a week and half with the mailbox and the bracket trying to devise a way to install everything. Never once did they give me the feeling that I was becoming a nuisance. On the contrary, they showed more of an eagerness and excitement along with me as we got closer to an approach that was going to work once they identified the approach and materials (wood, wood screws, cap screws, washers and nylon lock nuts) that were needed.

I highly recommend this business and its staff especially when you need some guidance. They will always demonstrate a sincere eagerness to help which you won’t find at Home Depot, Lowes...

The last time I was at the store was when it was Chalfont Family hardware and have to say I love it now that it’s Wehrungs. I was helped by two very nice gentleman. I had called on the phone to check and see if they had what I needed and Tim was kind enough to go check for me and confirm that they did and then when I came in Tony helped me and took me right to where it was. That’s excellent Customer Service! Most places would just point you to where you need to go and of course I would never find it! This place is neat and beautiful and has very nice employees working there. Will definitely get all my cleaning supplies there...

I am a new resident in chalfont pa. For all of my hardware needs I’m always at this location. The entire staff is outstanding. They have everything you might need.They know what customer service means. It is what they are number one In. I was in the store yesterday and needed a small piece of plexiglass. Tim was on duty and was so interested in helping me . This location treats all of it customers no matter how much spend equally.
