The SEPHORA employees!!!! They are amazing. I will only go to this locationif i can help it. This review is over due , so I have 4 employees to shout out. 1st. GIBBIE: this employee is so kind and sweet. Gibbie has been at this location for a while and has worked with me several times. I always have alot of questions. One time in particular, I really wanted a new concealer. I wanted an inclusive brand, long lasting and pink undertone. Gibbie gave me alot of information on several brands. Walked me from product to product. Gibbe had a smile the entire time, every experience with Gibbie since has been the same. Even if another employee is helping me, Gibbie always comes to say hi, and ask me how my day is going. I was very surprised when gibbie asked me how I liked that UD Quickie concealer almost 7 or so months later. I'm actually sad if Gibbie isn't working when I come in. ALEXIS. . Alexis is also one that has helped me many times. She also always has a good attitude and goes out of her way to greet me. She knows alot about the products. I also never feel like a burden, even though I take up alot of time and ask alot of questions. She also walks with me around the store giving me suggestions. Gibbie and Alexis both have great customers service skills, and care about there customers. all of the 4 im going to mention do. 3rdly ALI. this girl has her esthetician license and it shows. She had such great information for me about all of the skin care products I asked her about. When I told her I was on a budget, she respected that and took me to a few options with in my budget. I felt bad for the amount of time I took, but she assured me it was her pleasure. And her attitude and customer service, made me believe she was actually happy to help me. Last but not least.. KALIA. If this girl turns out to also have an esthetician lisence, I wouldn't be surprised. She was also very knowledgeable about skin care. One thing that impressed me, other than the anount of knowledge she had, was she went out of her way to help me and I didn't even have to ask her. she over heard me asking someone about a product, telling them I disliked my pores on my nose and wondered if it would help. She took it upon her self to get up from what she was doing ( and she was busy) and come talk to me and educate me on another product that would help me and my pore issue. She did not have to take the extra effort to help me, but she knew she could help, and she did. And this was even after she heard me talk her co workers ear off. Lol. I was very grateful for the knowledge she offered, and was impressed by the knowledge she had for the products and inflgredients.
I always look for the first 3 when I come in. Today was my first time meeting Kalia, but now I will be looking for her as well. Often workers are there strictly for a paycheck, and because I talk alot, am indecisive, and a bit nerotic, I often worry I am irritating the workers. These 4 employes never make me feel like I am annoying them, and make me feel like i am valued as a customer. This is an amazing team of kind and knowledgeable employees. This is why I always come to this location, even though they are a bit smaller then a stand alone sephoria, and I sometimes have to order online to get products they don't carry. I am very impressed. Read moreTerrible customer services. I bought a pair of shoes for my husband but it was too small for him with the socks on so I went to return it. The lady at the customer service opened the box and check the shoes. She asked me if I have used them at all. I told her no. Why would I do that. They didn't fit. They were brand new just like how I got them in the first place. I kept it in a box with a plastic bag outside and put it in my closet, untouched!! She scanned me from head to toes like I'm some kind of criminal that needed to be checked throughout. With a very impolite tone she asked me such a ridiculous question which went like this, so you keep the shoes for 2 months and only return them now? I was like, yes, because I didn't have time to go to the store (but more like because Kohl's is so boring and has nothing nice that are worth checking out that's why I didn't come, ma'am) Anyway, even if I don't have an excuse, I shouldn't have been told that way, twice! I returned them on time, without any problem. She kept on checking the shoes from left to right, right to left, bottom up, and from all sides, then looked at me again and again. Then she concluded that well, just to make sure they are not broken (really?!) anywhere so that the next customer can buy them, you know? They will not buy the shoes if YOU HAVE USED THEM! I was like, sure please check all that you want because really they are brand new! Needless to say I didn't even want to shop at that Kohl's ever after that. Even though I did nothing wrong I was treated very rude and unfair. My shopping day was totally ruined. Seriously how could the customer want to continue to shop at KOHL's if it's gonna treat the customers so negatively when they do a return? I do not ask the customer service to treat me like a queen. Just be a little more positive please. The store wasn't even crowded (in fact it was very empty.) I you have a bad day don't treat it like the customers are the cause. It's almost Holiday, please don't ruin it for KOHL's or us...
Read moreFrustrating! Tiny, digital signage is terrible and at times missing or inaccurate. Very few employees around to ask for help, and they are very leery of the situation, too. Too many items are now excluded from discounts and promotions. Areas where I shopped had so many items out of place that I could not shop without having to reorganize everything. HATE having self-checkout when there are coupons and questions I need to ask with no one available to ask. Also annoyed and embarrassed because my purchase set off alarms at the exit like I stole something, only to find out there was a hidden security tag that should have been removed by an employee. Buy wait, I was funneled to self-checkout since I did not have a return......how was I supposed to know how to identify and remove security tags?
Just a horrible shopping experience all around. Prices were not great at all, so all the money they are saving by hiring fewer employees is just going back to line the pockets of the stockholders. I will personally be avoiding giving Kohls my business. No customer service = ...
