I’ve always loved coming to here and buying my hats from here! Nancy and Alex are awesome and very helpful, and I love that they already know we go pretty often and literally they treat us like family! My only thing, Just today the 23rd of December, there was another lady working there with Nancy and Alex, that was very mean and rude to Alex when he was helping me and a few members of my band (Mexican music band, we went to get our uniforms). I didn’t appreciate this lady following us around the store kinda trying to get between us and Alex. At the end, Nancy was checking us out and the lady kept interrupting us from asking questions to Nancy. I also had my emotional support dog that’s being trained and she kept trying to pet her and play around to the point that my dog got kinda nervous. We are clients and we come very often to the store, so we would really appreciate if the people in charge of this beautiful place would look into this kind of actions from this lady. I really hope my review can help to turn this amazing place into something...
Read moreWOW!!! I walked into the store at 4:40 in the afternoon, was met by a nice enough lady who greeted me with a hello; I joking asked her if they had any cowboy hats. She joking responded stated that they had a few. It was obvious where they were in the store so I made my way over to them looking specifically for a black felt hat. Those types are hung high on the display wall not in reach of customers. In the time I was browsing not once did her or her colleague come by and ask if I needed any assistance, just went about their business behind the register in an otherwise empty store. I wound up leaving as I didn't want to bother them as they were busy waiting for 5:00 to come so they could close. It's sad that Saba's has declined over the years. Off to Az-Tex Hat Co. for hopefully a...
Read moreI bought a Serratelli cowboy hat from their Mesa location (now closed) in 2012. It needed reshaping, so I gave Saba's a call when they opened today. They said they could knock it out, and to give them a 30-minute warning so they could get the iron hot.
I arrived a few hours later and a young lady that has worked there for a little over a year offered to clean it and reshape it. I took her up on the offer and shopped around the store while I waited. In short order, she got it shaped and cleaned up like new!
I was sad to learn that this Chandler location was the first, and now the last, Saba's. I'll keep patronizing them as long as they are around!...
