Somerset Village — Local services in Charles Town

Somerset Village is located on Somerset Boulevard in Charles Town, WV. In the center is an Aaron's Furniture Store, Food Lion, Jefferson Estate Jewelrers, Starbuck's, 7/11, Sally Beauty, and a seafood restaurant. I like Aaron's Furniture Store. I bought a recliner from them and paid in full in cash. For doing that, I received a 20% discount. They delivered right on time. In fact, they were a little early. I no longer shop at Food Lion except on a very rare occasion. Their prices have gone up quite a bit, yet they are no better at keeping shelves stocked, their employees stock shelves while you're trying to shop and won't get out of the way or offer help. The Jefferson Estate Jeweler is a nice place. If you look around, you can find some good deals. Not a Starbuck's fan. Don't like coffee. But if I did, I'm not paying those prices. Are they kidding? I don't know anything about Sally Beautu or the seafood restaurant. I have heard from others that they are doing very well and have good food. I have no idea of prices, unfortunately. As one of Charles Town's few shopping centers, Somerset Village holds up its reputation by offering a pretty solid shopping experience. From a 24-hour gym, notable coffee, a grocery, bank, and several restaurant options, the average shopper in town could easily and successfully finish errands and daily tasks here. With a spacious lot which I believe some commuters make home to, parking is plentiful among a clean lot.

There is one caveat, and that is exiting the area by stoplight. The intersections are terrible, with slow-moving traffic that is plagued by drivers cutting each other off to avoid waiting another light cycle.
