We recently got married in this beautiful, historic church in downtown Charleston. Lori, the wedding coordinator, was an extreme pleasure to work with, and helped to make sure our wedding ceremony ran smoothly. She was wonderful at communication during the planning process, and gave suggestions throughout of things that I hadn’t thought of. Went as a guided tour with my former pastor, I did not attend service. Current the establishment is under renovation on one side so not all was visible to view. The first Baptist church is a name often used for this theological camp for churches that were not actually the first of their kind, but for some reason, when you look at the large wooden doors and history painted on the us church, you really feel like it is the very first baptist church.
