My wife and I took this Charleston walking tour on a Saturday in December 2024. There were a number of other tours companies visible during this day and all seemed to be in groups of 18 or more. Our tour group was very small and our guide was Paul S. I have to say this was one of the best tours that I have taken simply because of the size of our group. Honestly most of the tour guides are very knowledgeable and I believe they are required to be tested and licensed. We had a good time. We were impressed by the knowledge of the tour guide. The couple we were in the tour with brought the experience down. They were so intoxicated (they had brought their own drinks) the man went into the bushes a couple times. They ran into friends of theirs along the way and asked the tour guide if the friends could join the tour. She said yes with no problem. We felt disappointed and disrespected by this since we had paid to be there.
