This was a super cute boutique and my group was very happy with our permanent jewelry. However, beware of making an appointment here. I spoke with an associate on the phone about a month before our visit and made an appointment for me and 7 friends to get permanent jewelry at the store for my sisterās bachelorette party. I paid a $109 invoice to hold our appointment and was told we would have a separate room, champagne would be available, and that the bride would get to pick out a free charm (normally $20) for her bracelet! However, upon arriving we had to wait for another group to be finished (approx. 20 minutes). We were not in a private room - in fact we were just at the back of the store like everyone else, and many walk-ins were standing around waiting for us. When I mentioned the room, the champagne, and the free charm, the girl doing our jewelry laughed and said she didnāt know what I was talking about. I showed her the invoice that I paid for $109 to hold the appointment, and she again acted like she had never seen that before. I was told that the $109 would come off of the price of my jewelry and the brideās jewelry, and she looked very very skeptical. In the end, she didnāt even seem to be able to find my invoice, and just charged me for a ring so that the price I owed for 2 bracelets minus the $109 would be āabout right.ā I was disappointed that I booked this thinking it would be a fun, intimate, and personal experience for my sister (the bride) and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent into Grit & Grace and decided to get the Permanent bracelets. The manager was the one who wielded the jewelry into place. As we left the store, we went about our day and ate dinner. Came home to find the bracelet had COMPLETELY fallen off. There was no way the bracelet would have snagged off on anything, so the process was (obviously) not done correctly as she said it was.
We went into the store the VERY NEXT day after getting it done and speaking on the phone with the employees and management. The employee was very sweet and compassionate, but the manager was quite snarky and rude over the phone. We decided that same day to walk in and speak with them in person. The Manager then came to hear about the situation and did not seem to help with the issue we had. She was quite annoyed and nonchalant about the situation and would not compromise for a product that was bought the day before. We were very kind and sweet about the entire situation. We didnāt want to be rude at all! That was not our motive behind us coming back in.
All in all, Definitely wouldn't recommend getting the permanent jewelry option at Grit & Grace, knowing if it falls off in a few hours your money is being wasted and nothing can be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into this store but i only went to use the machine to get prints. At first, the guy was kind and complimented my dog. We had a good chat and I gave him $20 in return for $2 in quarters. He gave me 3 $5 bills ($15) and $2 in quarters amounting to $17. He also gave me a few pennys and dimes (not $3 worth..) i thought it was strange but thought maybe thereās a fee for using the machine or something. I got two of the same prints, and was bummed so went back with one of the $5 bills. He gave me $2 in quarters and a few more dimes and pennys. (He should have given me back $3!) thats when i said ādid you give me back the right amount changeā and he said āyep!ā I walked out and talked to my partner who encouraged me to go back inside and say something. I went back in and said āyou didnāt give me the right amount backā. i should have $16 and i have $10. I only used $4 in quarters. I got 4 portraits for $4. I gave you a $20 bill. The guy kept just saying he gave me my change. Then a woman came over to try to help and when explaining it, the guy just kept saying he gave me my change. Check your cameras, check your draws. I canāt believe as a patron i had to deal with $6 being...
