I'm very distraught about Green's Feed & Seed! đ„șđ«
That family owned & operated store has been my family's "go-to" place for 60+ yrs. I can remember as a child shopping with my dad @ 2-3 of their previous store locations with the wooden floor boards, the earthy smells, the fascinating equipment, & the old style loading docks complete with "yard cats" (instead of yard dogs) to keep the rodent population down. Even though they didn't have alot of toys or "kids stuff" there, it was my favorite store in town because of those yard cats! It still is one of my favorite stores to shop for yard & garden stuff...much more interesting than the impersonal big box stores!
The reason I'm distraught?? I heard recently that they're planning to sell the business. I really don't know what Hubs & I will do for our animal & gardening supplies and we will certainly miss the warm & friendly staff & the personal service they always give to their...

My mother called a month ago asked about cement geese and the first person who answered was very nice, but then the rude lady came on and practically yelled at my mother saying they donât have any. The lady was again very rude to her with a raised voice my mom asked for sizes and prices and she said âI AM SOLD OUTâ and in the middle of my mom asking when she will get more the lady said âIT WILL BE FALL BEFORE I GET ANYâ she also wouldnât say her name. We used to shop at greens all the time, but we WILL NOT be shopping there anymore, such a shame how people...
Read moreEarl Green is an old family friend I can always remember being in my life. He is a Christian man who lives and stands for the Lord. I am proud to be an adult and shop in his store. I can always remember going in as a little girl with my daddy to get something he needed. Now when I need something, I go in there. I was so happy to see Earl a while back and say hello and reminisce about he and my grandpa going to church together. He was one of my grandpa's dearest friends. It made my heart feel good to talk about old days. My grandpa passed away when I was 7 years old. Almost 40 years ago now. Earl will be honest with you. I don't know how his others work, but he was always honest and far. They have some beautiful garden fixtures outside there. If you get a chance, go...
