Unfortunately the stands were not full for the final day of the WTA tournament. Being that area kids were on break from school, other events happening around the area, ticket pri es, or even the to seeds being knocked out - whatever the case - it still posed as a great day. The directors of the Open made a decision to grant rainchecks from the previous days rain storm that cancelled most of the matches, a decision they had never had to make in the history of the tournament. They made a great choice to bump the attendance and also make the participation greatful - as I for one did not appreciate being told my day was done after one full match and less than one set played from another - not even a half day of what I paid for my family. Lots of activities and food options were available - so if there was no interest in who was playing, one could stay busy. Kids were upset a little when one physical activity was closed off due to wi-fi being down while we had the chance between games. I missed a little tennis play due to lines, should have been expected since the schedule was packed to finish. First time experience for this type of sporting event. Learn to adjust to make it more fruitful the next time the tournament comes next year. It was fun.

As the official photographer of the Volvo Car Open (formerly the Family Circle Cup), I think this is one of the most AMAZING tennis facilities in the country. It's hard to believe that when this world class professional tennis tournament isn't in town, the Family Circle Tennis Center is open to the public to join and play on their beautiful courts. They have both hard courts and clay courts available, a great club house with gift shop, changing rooms, convenient parking, etc. Throughout the year, the stadium is also home to a variety of fantastic concerts and events! It's a wonderful stadium with an intimate atmosphere, and not a bad seat in the house!

We attended the Charleston Tennis Tournament during the qualification days. Pros: The area around the tennis facility is excellent for meals and walking. Several good local establishments for food, drinks, etc. Transportation to and from the parking lot provided free. Cons: Miscommunication of prohibited items that can be bought into the Tennis Tournament such as handbags, open water bottles, backpack, folding chairs, clear bottles, etc. The facility needs to improve on their tournament entry guidelines! Advanced notice would make the experience less stressful!

Visiting from out of town and I decided to go to the wed night fast feed clinic and it was a nice clinic. The facility is lovely and the pros were great, the only problem is that the clinic wasn't what the website led me to believe it would be.

The website made no mention of it being solely about doubles and while there's nothing wrong with doubles it just wasn't what I signed up for. The description says "ninety minutes of drills designed for higher level players" but it's ninety minutes of the same doubles game with several variations.

Again there's absolutely nothing wrong with a doubles clinic of this nature I just wish I had known that's what I was signing up for because I don't think I would've gone.

Perhaps change the name to "advanced doubles practice" or clarify in the description that the focus...
