I had first experienced Tropical Smoothie Cafe when someone brought me a smoothie instead of the chips and chocolate I asked for. I am very particular about smoothies so I wasn't very excited about it (but I knew I should make the healthier decision). I tried it and it was the most amazing smoothie I had ever tasted. My co-worker had gotten me the Bahama Mama and I couldn't wait to get another one. I usually don't even finish a smoothie because I have a hard time with certain textures. Not only did I finish this one, but I am surprised at the short time it took to do so. Like I said, I couldn't wait to get another one, but unfortunately I couldn't get there myself for another 2 weeks. I originally ordered online because I did not have a lot of time on my lunch break. Their website was easy to view and use. Once I got to the store, it was packed (and for good reason). The environment was fast paced, but no one was looking over-extended. The customer at the register and the line that follows need to be the top priority of the cashier. If they should ever be pulled from the register- it should be for easy, quick jobs like filling utensils, wiping down tables and counters- any job that would allow them to get back to the register quickly. Iāve been there three times and the cashier is always helping with several other more involved tasks and allows the customer at the register and the line to wait until they are finished without acknowledging them. Whoever owns and operates this location should know that the staff of teenagers has absolutely 0 customer service skills. The one red head girl spent the 10 minutes while we were inside ordering, yelling at & ordering around the younger gentleman. While it may have been joking, it is completely unprofessional and every customer inside felt extremely uncomfortable.
