Do not book with Seas the Day!!!! My husband and I planned a day around a snorkel charter with Seas The Day. We arrived at the beach with our booking information in hand. A dingy brought us out to the catamaran and as we stepped on the boat the captain questioned if we had the right day. I shared our booking information and the crew confirmed everything was correct. After our arrangements were made, Seas the Day booked a 12 person wedding party and because of that booking they were over capacity. They then decided to kick us off the boat because we were only a 2 person group. They basically told us... I'm sorry this couldn't work.
The owner took no responsibility for the error on their end. Viator confirmed that Seas the Day did get our money and our reservation. Now Viator opening an investigation.
Here is the worst part: When we were on the beach the Coast Guard approached us. They said Seas the Day has 5 known cases of traveling with too many customers and is now under investigation. The Coast Guard was watching them for illegally picking up people from Margarittaville and traveling with too many passangers.
Please don't ruin a day of your vacation with this sketchy company. You may end up left on a beach like us. Now we are trying to get our money back and working with the Coast Guard & Expedia & Viator to protect...
Read moreI can’t believe that happened today. Was this real? It had to be a dream. This had to be the best day of my life. I swam around a haunted shipwreck (the wreck was breathing, I shit you not), hand fed seagulls Doritos, watched the coolest sea turtle in all of Turtle Town come up to the surface to blow me a kiss (I swear she winked at me), had a pool noodle duel with the first mate (she won), saw the cutest little spotted fish playing in the sand, and a lot of other stuff I can’t remember because I hit my head on the bar that reads, “BANG HEAD HERE.” Before serving me the most delicious, refreshing rum punch, they asked if I wanted to “walk, wobble or crawl off the boat” at the end of the day. How considerate! I don’t want to go home. I’m quitting my job as a termite specialist. I’m moving to St. Thomas. This place is too magical to stay away. Beware: this charter will...
Read moreMy sis and I booked this experience while on vacation for my 40th bday this past week. It was such a great experience and totally worth the time and $. The crew was amazing, fun and kept us hydrated, even with the fun homemade rum punches that we devoured. The waters were a bit rough on the day out so we only got to try 2 beach/snorkel sites that were posted for the trip but we were ok with that since we had done an ecotour a few days prior and got our snorkel experience out of the way. We really just booked this trip for the lazy catamaran experience. It was a beautiful floating trip back to Margaritaville and we met some fun new friends on the boat. I would def add this experience to your trip if you book a stay at the Islands. Just being on a beautiful boat on these blue waters with a sweet, accommodating 5 star crew made our 1st experience to St.Thomas...
