When I flew home from Germany, I literally only had 5 hours to sleep and 1 hour to pack before heading back to Fort Lauderdale for a 4-day crossing to St Thomas. I didn't expect down time on this trip so I didn't pack much beyond work clothes. No bathing suit, no flip-flops, nothing.

At the start of the shenanigans today, we stopped by this surf shop. What I'm about to say really goes towards the heavier-set women: clothes shopping is hard! So imagine my surprise that this surf shop not only had amazing beach wear and dresses, it all fit wonderfully! So I bought up flip flops, a bikini, several dresses and an outfit. My family had an incredible time on the all-day Jeep tour with Ocean Surfari. I called only a day prior and had a great conversation with Yvonne on the phone who was so accomodating. We ended up having her husband Todd, aka "Meatball", as our all-day guide/driver/island guru and could not have been happier! Meatball knew the island in-and-out, took us to all the best secret beaches and spots, taught us about the flora and fauna, and hunted for wild almonds, bromeliad fruits, and even pirate glass on the beach! I visited Ocean Surfari in December of 2021 to see what all the hype was about because everyone, their cousin, and their mother was walking round with some of these shirts. It's an experience. I walked in and looked around the store at the different products and designs. I ended up buying two of the same shirt, one in black, one in white because of the big BOGO sale. Even though my friend and I came close to closing time, we weren't rushed put of the store. I interacted with Blake who was funny and engaging. She showed us the cool pants that change design when wet. I'd recommend the store to anyone looking for beach...
