Personally this studio almost ruined my experience with Solidcore but I’m glad I tried another location to know that not every Solidcore is the same. When I first joined, the previous manager was extremely welcoming and inclusive… can’t say the same for new management. There’s also a passive aggressive tone that they tend to have if you give any type of push back for how they operate. I had 3 late cancel fees from October/ November that I had no record of until I was contacted in the middle of December during the solidays challenge stating that I would be removed from my scheduled class if it wasn’t taken care of. Mind you, an entire month had gone by before I was even made aware of this. I was then stopped before my class that night to update my card information which I in fact did. It took a week after that night for them to charge my card and for the entirety of that week I was stopped by every coach about the payment. When I addressed the fact that this issue should have been communicated to me way before this point, I was told that there are 600 clients that attend this studio so she has a lot to keep tabs on. I totally understand this but your procrastination should not be turned into my priority. As far as coaches go, they can definitely be a hit or miss. Some are extremely welcoming and others I can tell are a bit more focused on helping a particular type of demographic which honestly makes sense for the area. Solidcore states that they focus on inclusivity but I don’t think this is completely true for every location but that’s just...
Read moreSolidCore started out as my go to workout spot in Charlotte, but it has rapidly been slipping. It’s a great core workout with nice modification options, but I was duped into a year long commitment with the price of each class going up significantly from where it originally started two years ago. Price per class is very high relative to market comparisons. This is relevant to the greater concern of not treating and compensating very good teachers appropriately. SolidCore, this is your best asset. Put all that money we pay per class towards keeping and retaining top teaching talent that has been loyal to you over the years as well.
Pretty simple...
Read moreMany of the coaches are great! Classes are challenging. However, i do think it is a bit over priced and there is NEVER people working at the front desk to assist you. The door code they give you on the app is wrong sometimes which can cause you to be late and trust me if you’re not there 5 minutes before class starts you’re late. Every time I have a question and send an email they ALWAYS have a little attitude/passive aggressive when replying. They teach community but they are the ones who need it most. Again, most experiences with coaches have been great it’s just the people who do the logistics that need...
