Not the experience I was hoping for. My friends and I booked a group party for 5 of us. The women at the front desk was extremely friendly when we arrived! We expected to be there for a while since there were 5 of us. We got there at 1145 & The first two girls went back around 12 and two more went back when they were finished. I didn’t get taken back for my facial until after 2pm. The girl who did my facial was sweet but didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing? I explained to her that I had sensitive skin and rosacea and this was my first facial. Every product that she put on my skin burned. I wasn’t sure if this normal or not and nothing was explained to me. At one point after she applied something my face was on fire. I was about to say something but she was laughing? The laughing went on for a few minutes and you could tell she was trying to be quiet but I felt extremely uncomfortable that she was laughing at me so I didn’t bring up the burning. She was also massaging my scalp and would stop and just leave her hands partially in my hair and continue to laugh. At the end she applied a lip balm and there were fuzzys that I had to pull off my lips after. She told me at the end that my face got “extremely “ red but looked better now. I wish she would’ve said something in the moment because I would’ve asked her to stop. Another thing was the length of my appointment. Online it states 40-50 min… I remember signing something on her persona phone (not the iPad ) around 2:15pm… I was checking out and leaving at 2:45. So about 30 min or less. To spend 100 dollars for an unprofessional, short facial was very frustrating. I will not recommend or return to this location. It was a terrible first experience there and...

I have been a member of Face Foundrie for over 18 months and get facials monthly. I have always had a fabulous experience, but yesterday Bonnie Kalen was the best aesthetician I have ever had! She had studied my profile, but still asked great questions and made some recommendations to change my treatment based on her initial look at my face and our conversation.

Bonnie took her time, explained what she was doing, checked in on me but also allowed me to relax (in fact it was so soothing my Oura ring clocked a 40 minute nap 💤). My skin was incredible glowy and refreshed afterwards - quite a feat since we had just returned from over a week at the beach! I got the Face Foundrie Glow facial with the enzyme mask.

I cannot wait for next month to see Bonnie again!
