What an amazing piece of public art! Evelyn Henson has made such a generous contribution to our city with this art wall mural. It is absolutely adorable. We really had not explored South End at all before heading down to find this fun spot. Now that we know it is such a great area we will definitely be heading back soon!! So many fun restaurants in the area - my boys and I can't wait to try Jenis Ice Cream and go for a walk exploring this spring!! I truly hope this inspires other artists but more importantly that it inspires other business owners and city representatives to INVEST in more public art!!

The Confetti Hearts Wall is a mural in Charlotte's South End district along an otherwise boring alleyway. The artwork is by artist Evelyn Henson.

It is between Camden and Hawkins around the corner from Hawkers and other restaurants. Forty feet long, it is an "Instagram wall" where you can post for your perfect picture and then get an ice cream...
