Atrium Health Morehead Medical Plaza — Local services in Charlotte

I don't always leave comments and if/when I do, it is short and to the point, but I was so impressed with the service that I received and witnessed today that I just had to take this time to let you know that your Valet Team at the Morehead Medical Plaza are Professionally Excellent!!! I had the pleasant opportunity to receive Authentic, Wonderful, Professional service provided by the Valet Parking Team at this location. They were on top of their game with immediate service upon arrival and quick service when leaving. I was also provided with info that I was not aware of and a wheelchair was retrieved quickly for my client who was on oxygen support. They even helped me to wheel my client inside the hospital. I was only sorry that I didn't have any cash on me to leave a tip that they so richly deserved. I wish there was some way to provide tips thru an electronic source. Hopefully, that's something that can be considered in the future. I even witnessed their professional behavior while assisting others as I sat outside waiting for my client who was having a procedure done. The whole team deserves a standing ovation for their Pleasant, Professional service and genuine dedication to Customer...

Navigating the Carolinas Medical Center complex to find the Morehead Medical Plaza building might be a bit confusing. At least, I get confused sometimes, and I've been coming here about once a year for 5+ years.

The website cautions that parking here is limited, but luckily I've never had a problem; I've always found parking available in the parking deck. From the parking deck, access to Morehead Medical Plaza is easy. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor, and then take the skywalk to get to any of the buildings in the complex. Just follow the signs. It's a short walk to Morehead Medical Plaza. Believe it or not, one time I missed one of the signs and became "lost" in the complex, but not for long. I just asked the receptionist at the first office I found, and she helped me get my bearings. Staff have been unfailingly friendly and helpful here from my first visit to today's appointment.

So, aside from possibly having some slight difficulty finding the building or finding parking, once you get to the skywalk, you'll be protected from the outside weather, safe, and will find helpful staff...

I walked in for my appointment after having checked in online beforehand, and they turned me away because I was 6 minutes late due to parking being half a mile from the office. There was no grace period whatsoever… the woman “helping” me at the desk would not even go ask him if he could take me once I walked in. In the rudest tone she said “he already marked you as a no show because it will put him behind schedule”. So 6 minutes without needing to check in will put a doctor behind schedule? The amount of times patients have to wait long after their appointment times is uncountable yet my appointment gets cancelled due to a small delay in the arrival time without any mentioning of that in my appointment confirmation? The double standard is ridiculous. All in all, the lady was super disrespectful and rude, and this is overall bad customer service especially for...
